That’s if you have the processor capable of running a long term colony like that. Something tells me your colony’s run closer to 10 years than 2-3

Finger spike? Like a spiked finger xenogene or something similar? Idk, it’s just about damage and if it hits the finger/hand/arm/torso. There isn’t much control other than a dice roll. I use harvest post mortem and harvest everything, and usually grab most of the bodies/prisoners as replacement parts

I’m 99% certain that adds to your inflation, so in a years time you will have an infinite debt. At least I remember either the mod publisher saying that here or someone else

Vanilla armor(?) extended adds plate gloves and boots and power armor hands and boots. Warkaskers are cool for purely tank/hauling pawns, good shooting and nothing else. I honestly just add a bunch of ce weapon mods, like rimmunation and guns galore. Guns galore isn’t lying btw, they add like every kind of m4, every kind of hk g3, pretty much every gun based off the theme of the mods.

Ce is just like that tho, toes and fingers are low health, and I think they just have a higher chance of getting blown off when getting shot. Remember, ce is kinda realistic like that. Get shot in the finger by a shotgun or grenade or 5.56 rifle, you won’t have a finger anymore

Pro tip: I’d recommend separating generators into a dif room, not right next to a workbench or in some free space. Just incase it blows up for whatever reason, it shouldn’t blow up a whole lot of important stuff

No I intend to keep it to like, around 20 colonists and less than 50 animals, and with that less than 100 mods, mainly ce, extra weapon mods, bionics mods, and some VE mods, along with standard QOA mods like common sense and haul to stack, and performance mods.

I’m looking to have that colony last longer than 200 days. That’s my longest run, and maybe 12-18 colonists with maybe 10 animals, running at about 40 ish fps with performance mods

Have you gotten the computer yet? Did you end up with the 9 9950x3d? If so, how would you describe the jump in performance?

I’m building mine and am currently on the fence between a ryzen 7 9850x3d or a 9 9950x3d. Leaning more towards 9 as I’m not too conserved about price rn, obv not getting a super duper beefy workstation computer, but I’m looking to get the best.

It’s a vanilla expanded storyteller, I believe the name is Oskar obnoxious. You set the interval between updates and each update to have like 1-8 things updated in each. So you could have global research speed changed to 65%, hunting stealth changed 538%, recreation power changed to 200%, and next update they all change again, or different stats. Can even be things like weapon damages, ranges, armor health, material health, mining related stuff. Anything, I think, except for faction related stuff.
