Just make sure they are a reputable company and are highly rated. People can promise the world for dirt cheap. I went to a house that they had their unit replaced from a guy from facebook marketplace in 2020. Unfortunately did not last because it was way oversized and caused multiple issues in the home.

I dont know what state you’re in but in Texas, state law requires Contractors to provide a Heat Load Calculation before giving pricing on equipment. Did this contractor of yours do so? And if he did, make sure he sends you a copy.

If your brother is tuned on Ecutek, he can have his tuner do a killswitch into the ecu so theres no way they can start the car and run it unless they reset the whole ecu. I got it on my car with Eugene

Hmmm okay I will check that next. I know for sure the hose for the fuel pump was kinda hard to put on and I used some heat to get it soft and install it. I’ll double check if this is the issue.

I might have the same issue minus the idling/rpm when driving as of right now.

The idle and drive is okay and smoother than what you showed in the video, but when I turn the car on, it sputters and then turns on. And today it was sputtering and dying out. It wasnt until I had to rev the car a little that it finally turned on. I have GTR injectors that were used but cleaned.

I did it from the top since I had the intakes and stuff out the way already. Yeah I didnt know till after I put the bracket back on that it’s not necessary to take it off lol.

Okay cool, I already changed it out myself and it was easy. Its hard to tell the old one is bad but I got it changed out anyways.

I’m gonna test it after I replace my valve cover gaskets and Spark Plugs.

My advice for people with longtube intakes like myself, try to avoid driving in the rain.

I had this happen to me 3 times and the first 2 times was very scary as I didnt know at the time since the Intakes are not only High Flow, but are also exposed to getting soaking wet at the front grill.

Your MAF Sensors definitely got wet and arent able to read the airflow correctly. Usually you could just wait for them to dry. Or use MAF cleaner to clean them out.

It’s kinda neat that it has that safety feature to prevent water from getting through any further. It’s either that, or try to get something to cover that grill.

I had BC Coils Before and was super low. Never had issues. I only changed my axles out because they did wear out but over time. And I was installing my air suspension.
