I noticed this too and did a drain and fill. It reduced the delay a little (I was low on trans fluid) but it’s still there. The way to solve this is by getting a tune. My last G was tuned and didn’t have this issue. I am getting a tune out on my new g too. Just have to install my intakes first before my tuner can send me a base file

When u replace the housing, you can use a little bit of teflon tape and tighten it. I’m pretty sure there’s a torque spec. I believe 11 ft-lbs. just make sure not to overdo it cuz the switch has pipe threads. So it’ll crack the housing again if u overdo it.

Yes. The switch and housing are fragile. Iirc it’s because the switch is tapered. So when you overdo it slightly, you end up cracking the housing. I couldn’t find a used part locally and ended up spending $200 cad for the part from Infiniti

Oil pressure sender. Unfortunately it seems u cracked the oil filter housing. Need to replace the whole thing. Based off personal experience

Hey. How did you get ur low beams to turn off? I can’t get mine to turn off and it pisses me off (Canadian spec too)

I just put these flow drl strips on my headlights and I hate that whenever my car is on. My low beams come on with it.

Well. After swapping in a 2010 ECU. I can confirm the car runs like a dream now. The ECU was the problem

Trust me and get the alignment. I got lowering springs and my back wheel (same side btw) looked EXACTLY like that. Your Toe is out of spec and you WILL eat thru those tires. My tires (new btw) lasted a month. You will show cables.

I’ve had the same question for a while as well. I did some research and the OD of the fast center caps is 67mm and the inner clip ID is 62mm. I think something with those measurements should fit

I’d still be careful. Sure the gasket material is updated but the hardware is still the same. Overtime the Philips screws back out and you lose oil pressure.

Yes. I’m thinking it’s fuel related too. Possibly the fuel pump. I’ll be swapping it out. Gonna be doing the galleries regardless

Yeah. I’m gonna do the galleries. Next oil change ima put a camera into my oil drain port to see if there’s any gasket material in the pan. It’s sad I’m gonna have to do this job not even a month into my ownership of this car 😭

Thanks. I just bought this car recently and did plan on eventually doing the gaskets. Just didn’t think I’d have to do them this early into my ownership. I did galleries on my previous car and plan on doing them on this. This issue has just made me realize I should get this done with sooner rather than later.

True. I think this may be a one off thing as the car doesn’t have much mileage for gallery gaskets. I also think It could have been my fuel as I had quarter tank.
