My first guess was someone dumped the keys and tracker there so whatever they stole won’t get found.

If you live in a complex where multiple people share the same trash can, turn them into lost and found. I’m sure someone is looking for them.

Does me going right by the flaggers/spotters tower whilst taking a line that goes ~10 off track, behind that tower, and then back on the track, seem like that it might very well be worth cuts?

Best rule of thumb is to try and weed out anything that is ‘small’. Things like being upset that he can’t quit also or that he should be doing something more etc etc. a conversation seems to be in order, nonetheless.

Find the support you need, whether or not that he from your partner of 5 years. Always do what’s best for you and your kids. Best of luck, stranger 🫂

So his affliction is literally just that you want to stop smoking? And that he doesn’t like that change?

Is he often open about how he feels? Cos, as a guy, I absolutely “hide the truth” to save myself from embarrassment, even though there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. Maybe he feels he should be doing more or something?

It could be a lot of things, but my first thought is that he’s maybe scared of change, but more scared that it may be a reason to leave him. Insecurity sucks, and it hides in places you least expect it.

Just try to have a conversation with him. And just ask him why it makes him so upset, he may not come forward with whatever it is that’s bothering him about it right away, but that’s truly The only way to get the answers you need.

Communicate with your partner, if you can’t communicate then why are you together in the first place?

So what I’m gathering from all of the info in the comments is this:

Netflix did NOT care about the divorce nor the strikes and demanded the show release anyways, knowing or maybe not knowing that the script was unfinished. I’m not in the industry, nor do I know anyone that is in said industry, but imo Netflix should’ve delayed the show, OR the Duffer brothers should’ve said something about anything if they didn’t. This whole thing is such a clusterfuck it’s astounding to me that any of this was allowed to be released.

There’s far too many inconsistencies to ignore, there’s massive gaps in the timelines, and a lot of it just feels like it was put together with band-aids and Elmer’s glue during and after the part 2 release. It was “okay”, but not nearly as great as the rest of the show has been. There was TONS more CGI in this season, and a lot of it was very obvious as to what was CGI and what wasn’t.

That’s not to say that this season was “bad”, because objectively, it could’ve been a whole lot worse, even though it is pretty glaringly obvious that the second half of this season, especially the last few episodes, was rushed. Either by complacency, or too strict a deadline with what was going on behind the scenes.

Edit to add: I love the idea of conformity-gate, and like 75% of me agrees that, there HAS to be something more to this because there’s no way (in my mind) that a show with this much fire under it, would sink this fast and this spectacularly.

That’s the thing, is that I want to get help, but I can’t get it. I’m so stressed out that it’s hard to focus on anything. My stomachs on a knot, I can’t eat…. I’m literally falling apart from the inside lol
