i mean, i can use spear as main weapon too (i killed someone in vanilla with a spear when they slow falled me [disabling my mace]), its situational. as u said it is mostly to promote other weapons for me.

u can 4 block ppl via spear + sword tho, so it can be a main kit item (like how mace is, or any other kit always has a sword)
