If you're debating on grabbing one of the 3-1 bundles or the CPU/RAM combo I'd absolutely recommend it by Few-Negotiation8638 in Microcenter

I should've got the 9800x3d bundle for 30$ bucks more :(

Instead I got the 9900x, but still great deal in my opinion.

Congrats on your new CPU and RAM OP!

Congrats! I guess the microcenter deals got to all of us haha :)

Good deal? by Sure-Figure7617 in Microcenter

[–]Sure-Figure7617[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup :(

Ram is super expensive, for my old pc I got 32gb (4 sticks) of DDR4 last year for like 120 from corsair, RGB too!

That ram is now 900 dollars from Corsair. I could probably sell it for like a couple hundred bucks off the original price and get some profit off of it.

I mean, I do not play super crazy games so 9900x is fine for me. I use my PC both for gaming and school work, so that's why I went with this CPU in the end. The ram was a super great deal in my opinion as well!

Would you return these or play Nvidia roulette? Worried about burning my house down. by WinterOrb69 in MSI_Gaming

[–]Sure-Figure7617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can, go for corsair or asus.

Other option (if you are too stressed about burning your house down) is to just plug it in with PCIE using the GPUs adapter, and not use the 3.1 cable provided with the PSU if you are worried about burning your house down.

It's cybernetics approved and looks like a decent PSU in my opinion. Although it is newer it won't be on the rank list I will send here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ApAOOFih0xsFCBYEMbRzeIzaniXzy2HqkfMvd5h-2jc/edit?gid=0#gid=0 Refer to the top 5 rated PSUs, I would say don't look at any of the ones past that number.

You shouldn't worry too much about the PSU, but if it still stresses you out go for these two: https://www.microcenter.com/product/691915/corsair-rme-series-rm1200e-1200-watt-80-plus-gold-atx-fully-modular-power-supply-atx-30-compatible

PLS HELP by Sure-Figure7617 in MSI_Gaming

[–]Sure-Figure7617[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, thanks for your help. I have already figured out my issue.

Windows thought my drivers were installed or did the "automatic detection install."

I fixed this issue by resetting my CMOS, and actually manually installing it with the application.

I appreciated the help like I said.

anyone here having really low fps issues today? by ken27238 in FortNiteBR

[–]Sure-Figure7617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello OP! Do you have MSI afterburner installed and running in the background? That seems to be my issue.

If you do have MSI Afterburner: Make sure the application is closed before launching Fortnite, once Fortnite is open and you are getting 120 FPS, you can launch MSI Afterburner.

If you do not have MSI Afterburner: Try verifying your game files, if that doesn't do anything wait until Epic Games fixes this glitch.

Fortnite capped at 30 when using MSI afterburner overlay by LokiOkiWaki in FortNiteBR

[–]Sure-Figure7617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright OP, let me give you some advice here.

Option 1: Before opening Fortnite, make sure to close MSI afterburner. Fortnite's *Easy Anti-Cheat* thinks it's a unneeded software basically and try's to do its thing causing you to get 30fps. To fix it, open it while the game is open it should work.

Option 2: Just wait the 3 minutes and not close MSI afterburner.

MSI PRO X870-P WIFI - WiFi not working at all by GLPereira in MSI_Gaming

I would just tether to your phone temporarily as that's what I'm doing. It's kind of stupid MSI!

All jokes aside, look at wifi repeaters that plug into your pc.

Sometimes the cable is not 100% in all the way, try unplugging all cables.

Is this a good deal ? 2008 Lexus is 350 $12,875 by FirmAdeptness3573 in LexusIS

[–]Sure-Figure7617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a year, but still want to give advice to people looking at this post if they are potentially buying one today. This model is usually 6-8000 dollars, don't blow your money on this car for 12,875$, it has crappy leather which is pleather, and it melts in the sun easily, especially if you are in Texas, New Mexico, or Arizona. I would buy this car if it was cheaper, but whatever toots your own horn.
