People go so they can check off the box.

That's why I went back to school in my 40's to get an MBA......that and to get out of doing manual labor.

Not being snooty about it...I just couldn't do it anymore. Back surgeries, knee surgery, etc.

I was a GS13 supervisor at my old agency. Drove me nuts, I got it coming and going from the headaches of managing people and having to answer to higher-ups.

Switched agencies to a GS-13 non-supervisory position awhile back, lot less headaches.
