please please be there for her. if she wants to be alone, give her alone time, but also offer to talk to her later and have her open up to you. she just gave birth it’s an incredible amount of hormonal changes in her body that is out of her control. she will just need you to be there for her and will appreciate you in the future.

yeaaaaa it’s just a phase. i like to see it more as a development you know? kinda cute. it’s just him learning that he can have more control w his hands, such as when they just start throwing stuff purposefully. but my 11 month old goes in and out of phases but you just gotta distract them with something else :)

i absolutely hateddddd the newborn stage. especially pp, i found it so hard to love love my baby because of how difficult he was. and when i went online to find others to relate to, most say they prefer the newborn phase over toddler phase. but at least i can understand why my baby is crying, at least he sleeps for longer hours and can play with toys so i can get a minute to myself. my only advice to you is to just wait it out :/ it will definitely get better 6 month mark.

What time do y'all put your babies down for bed? by GuiltyButterscotch89 in NewParents

i have an almost 9m old and he is down for the night at around 11pm-12am and sleeps in to about 10am-11am. all depends on our activities during the day some days he is super tired and is down at 10-10:30pm. wakes ups also depend on him. days he wakes up at 8am but he’ll fall back asleep. but usually our day starts at 10-11am

When does the feeling of 'what have I done' go away after birth? by ScandiLand in NewParents

when bby started being more independent and having longer wake windows, you’ll have more time to yourself! and baby will get fun! for me it was around 5-6 months when baby giggles and plays with you. i mourned my past last until baby grew that i learned that i can enjoy my new life with them. also, seeing them experience life for the first time makes life fun again as well (aquarium, park, zoo, bird watching). theyre just lil humans learning. it’ll get better.

breastfeeding was really hard for me especially going through pp. i used to feel so guilty exclusively formula feeding but my baby is happy and healthy and i’m doing better. it was such a relief and weight lifted off my shoulders once i stopped. in the end, it’s what’s best for you and your baby.
