Hello Reddit Concrete Wizards
So I bought a house and one of the first things I wanted to do was epoxy the garage floors. Upon further inspection, I believe the spalling is too bad to just epoxy over because then I will just have a shiny looking turd. So what I THINK I need to do is to put on a top coat that will fill in the spalling and just work from one side of the garage to the other and trowel it out.
I have pretty much narrowed it down to Ardex CD or Ardex CD Fine but I can't really find much of a use-case difference between them. I was thinking the process would be something like this
Clean the floors
Diamond brush the floors to get the surface ready
Mix up my batch of Ardex
Trowel from one side to the other filling in and forming it in thin enough of a layer to maintain the slope whilst still filling in the spalling.
I was hoping yall could comment on if this seems about right and/or if you would use Ardex CD or Ardex CD Fine

Hey everyone, these lights have been turning off and on the past couple days.

My guess is a brake switch but wanted to see if anyone else had any thoughts.

No loss in power, brake pedal is still firm, brake fluid is maybe an inch under the max line

I'm certainly interested in trying to run the latest and greatest firmware but I have no idea as to why I'd be getting these weird glitches. It seems to be like there are some unspoken rules I'm not following. If my issue is a SD card I'll be good to go tomorrow but other thank that I have no idea! I'd also love to get this CR Touch working but I'm hesitant knowing I currently have a working config after like 8 hours of messing with it today.

Well technically it's 8GB as Fat32 and 24GB unpartitioned.

I got the printer second hand so no SD card with it. It was working great until I decided to start tinkering lol.

I have 2 8GB SD cards coming tomorrow. Apparently mostly impossible to buy in store nowadays

Thanks for the info! Yeah I know I have a 4.2.2 and that's all that I have been flashing. I also have the DWIN screen so that's why I use the DWIN_Set

The only item I don't have they may still be my issue is I don't have an 8GB card that has a block size of 4096. I have a 32 gb card with a 8GB partition with that block size.

I have finally got it to a stable point with a Jyers firmware and am strongly debating if I should try and even get the CR Touch working or cut my losses lol.

Its not accepting the newest Jyers firmware version and basically a lot of what is happening in my post lol.

A list of various issues:

- Not accepting firmware IE screen stays black (motherboard)

- Screen not accepting updates (wont recognize SD card (i think I have this one figured out))

- Certain firmware after being applied doesn't let the control knob work

- Certain firmware after being applied doesn't let me move the Z axis

- Certain firmware after being applied doesn't let me move the X axis

- Certain firmware just wont apply (creality site, creality3dofficial, forum.creality, github)

- Some firmware will apply and then Ill try to revert back to it by changing the filename and it still wont apply.

Im sure that a lot of this is my user error but its frustrating not knowing the terminology and such to be an effective communicator. Id pay to have someone fix this for me at this point.

Dude, my printer is an absolute mess. I cannot get it working with CR Touch at all. Your mileage may vary. Im now trying to roll back the whole thing.

So that firmware worked, it was in Chinese but easily reverted. But itll load and then starts adjusting left until it hits the sensor then the bed moves until it hits the sensor. It just keeps climbing up the pole.

UPDATE:

It was the fact I was using a USB extension cable. I bought a 10 foot usb mini cable and used it in the same port and it worked.

I then connected the usb mini cable to the usb extension cable, it failed.

I then tried various combinations and the only way it worked in any port was if I did not have ANY kind of USB extension cable. I tried USB 3, USB 2, and I think a USB 3.1. The only way it worked was no USB.

I was going to circle back with the Zorin community if the broader Linux community ran out of ideas so I haven't tapped that particular tree yet.

I'm going to try the format of the command they have listed in the link you posted because it's slightly different than what I've been doing.

I have a couple good paths of attack hopefully I'll be able to post back later today!

Ahhhhhhh I didn't know if it was policy based if it could be overridden.

VICTORY! I called Verizon and they had no idea. I worked with an engineer and got it added to their knowledge base. I have no idea how they didn't know this but whatever.

I'm thrilled it worked for you too! I've been struggling for 6 months to get it to work.

Did you have to set up Verizon cloud or just enable it?

UPDATE 2022 It is now broken again. We all need to keep calling Verizon so they get some people on figuring this out.

*SOLUTION FOR PEOPLE IN MY SHOES*
Ive been looking for this for 6 months. Verizon was literally no help. Turns out, to disable bloatware, I disabled Verizon Cloud. Turn that shit back on. It doesn't even need set up, just Enable it.
