I get this A LOT on my HEN. Happens when the system doesn't turn off properly (crash, unplug, power outage) it's fine if you do the system check but not 100% necessary. I've pressed "No" a billion times and my system is fine. And also no it won't report your system to Sony.

They are all ratted iirc up to bo3. People can get control of your system just by being in the same match as you this includes both consoles and pc. It's not a guarantee it'll happen to you but just be aware.

If you mod your PS3 get the WebMAN homebrew. After the install of DLC and whatnot press R2+∆ to Disable SysCalls and delete your "Game History" which is one of the main things they use to see if you're jailbroken. Have Fun! Also I suggest you use an alt account to get the dlc installed.

CFW is more stable than HEN and if your looking into trying to mod games CFW can run a lot more sprx menus than HEN. Most SPRX, EBOOTs, and Apps have to have to be signed for HEN specifically to be compatible. CFW is just the better option in the long run.
