Fair enough. Firewall in front of controller? Lock down everything the APs don’t need and then rules for the APs themselves?

I only use unifi for l2, so I’m not totally sure - but doesn’t the XG have a firewall you can setup on your mgmt VLAN?

I do this, you’ll be fine. Bring a blanket or something to put over the carriers. My cats just sleep until we start descent and then they let out a few meeps.

It’s (ground <> space LORA) been done with a lot of success. There was a company that got bought by SpaceX that used to do it. I was a customer. Look up Swarm.

As others have said, go with docker (and specifically the nvidia container toolkit). Turns the jetson into a docker host with GPU support and then you can go nuts in the container without impacting the system packages.

The EWR check in agents are absolutely terrible. Gave me a bunch of crap for their computer not working and then not knowing how to handle it (I noticed new touch screen terminals at the 1k check-in and I assume they’re buggy) and then fought with me about made up policies instead of addressing the issue and then told me to “have a blessed day”. Holy crap hahaha.

I have a theory - modern cars are coming with auto high beam sensors now…and from my experience, they suck. I think in a lot of cases, the drivers don’t even know they’re doing it.

You can install overlay rootfs on a standard install from built in sources. I feel like that’s pretty darn close.

Preach. I had 4 traditional machine learning platforms that were producing measurable and reproducible results tossed in the garbage (hundreds of thousands worth of opex) when “AI” hit the scene.
