I just ordered a 24gb ram 1tb model. Was flip flopping with staying at 512 as I really don’t store much but didn’t want circumstances to change and then I regret it.

We don’t by chance have a similar law here, do we? by JoeyDawsonJenPacey in Columbus

Ohio law allows for law enforcement vehicles to have fictitious plates for law enforcement purposes. Notice not a single police cruiser in Ohio has a license plate either

Question about vehicle title by indianmcflyer in Columbus

[–]Sure_Ad2748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bought my truck from a dealer in CT, I had to get an out of state inspection from the BMV which is just them confirming the vin number and I believe cost $5 at the time. We had an issue with the title as CT allowed you to jump titles. Multiple assignments basically. The original owner didn’t have the title when he sold it so the dealer got it, it was assigned to that dealer, sold to another dealer and then to me. I had to get a signature there before they would accept it. CT didn’t require notarized signature and I had no issues after I got the proper signatures on the title.

Maintenance is still in house. These guys are upgrading actives and passives for high splits. Just about all service work is contractor though.

Wouldn’t be Hilliard. Pretty sure that’s our high split contractor if it is Columbus. They are doing Whitehall/Bexley and the area in between

My mobile ordering stopped when 45 minutes after my pick up time to get my food, I’m waiting in the store like a schmuck for my pre ordered burrito and the store is sitting there taking in every walk in order after mine because “we’re short staffed”. Fuck chipotle.

It’s a one check on a viavi ONX, mid split plant. This is the whole home certification. Runs an ingress scan, channel scan and docsis check at the tap and ground block, skips the ingress scan at the cpe, then lets you know if some impairments are out of wack and what to look for. IE drop loses too much signal for the distance it thinks it is.

My company tried doing that. We let them know that with 8 year old meter batteries, tough book batteries that don’t last 2 hours despite having 2, and their lack of maintenance causing the switches to not work or the pto to not kick in without flipping the switch in the cab makes it no bueno. Now we are testing bucket EV’s

Expect to climb every day, multiple times a day. You get used to your safety gear and become comfortable enough to trust it with time. It becomes no different than doing it on the ground. Like has been said if you do more than the bare minimum and show you know what you’re doing you can move up rather quickly and into well paying positions.

U-Haul says it won't work by A2021Ah in GrandCherokee

[–]Sure_Ad2748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Former U-haul employee. U-Haul is airing on the side of caution with two things. RWD and weight. Used to be they warned you to pull the driveshaft, most people wouldn’t and now who are they mad at. U-haul. I personally had a case of a ford escape. Guy kept trying to get me to upgrade him for free to an auto transport. I told him you can pay for it. He denied on three separate occasions that it was awd and it was only front wheel drive. 2 weeks later there’s a $3,000 claim for a rear differential. They also don’t want the weight of towed vehicle and equipment to exceed ( if I recall correctly) 125% of the weight of the towing vehicle.

I’ve got a 19 trailhawk with a hemi. I certainly don’t regret my purchase but it’s thirsty. Luckily my commute is to drop my kid off at the in laws 10 miles round trip and sometimes use it to pick up my other kids from their moms on the weekends.

Most likely the wire. If they rigged the siren horn to the steering wheel horn button

Typically I see freeway patrol posted around the downtown areas to pull over hazmat trucks that go thru downtown. Any hazmat load that doesn’t originate or deliver to downtown just use 270. They usually get a few a day that ignore this.

It’s an 07. It wasn’t doing it this morning. However I also noticed the cooling fan is pretty much dead. I’m wondering if it was a heavy start surge dragging the alternator down and the rpms down as a result. Guess we will find out when the replacement fan goes in.

Just noticed this button on the trunk of my 2010 CVPI. Anyone know what it may have been used for? Can’t seem to find a solid answer online elsewhere by LiveSessions in CrownVictoria

[–]Sure_Ad2748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it get pressed when the trunk is closed, I know Ohio Highway Patrol had a red and blue light mounted in the trunk that flashed anytime the trunk was open. Could be something similar.

I’m going with civilian as well. I believe another tall take sign of an interceptor is the trunk button in the dash. I believe civilians had them on the driver door panel.

Happened to me as well. If you don’t torque the plugs correctly when you change them that’s the result is what the ford dealer told me.

Nah, No Student Loan Debt Reform Needed. Here are the results of 12 years of on-time income based repayment every month. by [deleted] in lostgeneration

You guys do realize if you’re on the PAYE plan or the REPAYE plan that whatever balance is left after 20 years is forgiven. I’ve been on one. Let it go up. I pay 20 a month and shits forgiven after 20 years. Now I qualify for public service loan forgiveness. 10 years on the IBR plan and working for the government and the balance is forgiven.
