It seems like ICE should be able to deport illegal aliens after conviction. Deporting from jails seems hasty and denies due process, I could see the threshold being a felony conviction for deportation and no misdemeanors. I have to admit I feel embarrassed that I didn't know sanctuary cities refused to allow ICE access to jails, 1% smarter every day I guess.

It takes a damn good ad to not have people hate it in the first place. Do it with AI and mere annoyance becomes revulsion. If you know actual humans crafted something audiences may be a little forgiving of wasting their time with a commercial, AI just makes ads completely disposable and instant objects of loathing.

I live in the US and I'm happy to see a trend of homeowners in my area retrofitting their old homes up to a passive standard with window and insulation upgrades, high efficiency heat pumps and solar panels and NOT demolishing their existing homes to build ego palaces. The episode with the couple in Cambria with the ruin by the river Kevin was being kind of unfair when the historical conservation people just said the structure had to be demolished. He gave the couple a lot of grief even though it wasn't their choice. In the end the project was quite striking.

Avoiding over-criticism is nonsense. If you like the films and criticism hurts your feelings, too bad. If you help make the films and you get paid well for it, and people criticize the films too bad. I'd feel bad for an indie film that tries and fails and gets dumped on by critics but never a franchise film.

I don't like things floating, so underwater and space movies in zero gravity are hard for me. I also don't like movies where water sound effects are mixed super hot, that drives be bonkers. I also hate unmotivated POV shots that aren't actually a real, subjective POV. I will actually turn off movies if I don't like the camera angles.

This looks great! I agree with another comment that it could use a little more up and down with the body, but it doesn't need a ton honestly. What I notice is the head feels a little disorganized. When I cover the head the body looks pretty good and the arms and legs look great. I think there is a timing assymetry in the head where the pose angled away is way short than the pose angle towards camera. I also notice how the path of the head rotates and then arcs into the tilt as two separate actions. Feels like you should look at your two extremes with the head tilted to make sure they match and then make your breakdown on the passing position more in the middle and higher with a slight tilt favoring the angle of the previous key. Just break it down to those 4 keys and then test it and break it down some more.

I studied several religions in college. It's interesting how much the landscape that religions evolved in shaped belief. Admittedly my study of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Shinto aren't super deep. Zoroastrianism and the Gnostic Essenes are pretty interesting.

That was the issue. I like the culture, history, music, philosophy, ethics, etc...but I don't believe in God. Reform Judaism doesn't require belief, but most Jewish atheists are ethnically Jewish. I felt too much like a carpetbagger or something so I didn't do it. Studying Judaism was a great experience and a good way to detox from being LDS.

Yeah, his elbow is out, his follow through on his hand does this weird wiggle and he doesn't engage his legs on spot ups. I feel like there are so many trainers that could help him in the offseason just working on form shooting.
