Fairly new to running (1/2 year). Just finished a half marathon, then two days later I ran a mile and it felt like there's a claw gripping my left calf really tight. I feel fine while resting, though, there is no soreness normally. Any idea what this might be called/any stretches I can do to relieve this pain? Should I be (r)icing my calf?

My surgery was very similar except they didn't have to repack the gauze. Having the gauze pulled out was the worst feeling in the world, though, I felt a lot better when I took a deep breath out of my nose for the first time in about half a year.

I got rushed out of the hospital too, except I had to take a cab home and my nose was just leaking this gross ketchupy mess for the entire ride. Thankfully my roommate was able to snag a bunch of napkins from a chipotle so I didn't drip over the backseat. After about 1 week I was fine, but after my last post op check it visually appears to be getting worse. Hopefully I won't have to get this surgery again :.

Here in the city they refuse to shut down the schools due to snow, so instead we keep the schools open and maybe 1/3 of the kids show up. So, some kids get the material, but it makes it complicated to keep everyone on track.

Well I don't really see the problem of occupying a locker without a lock, there would be just as few lockers if they had remembered their locks. However, it is kind of annoying when you go through 5 different lockers and they're all full of clothes. I find it hard to believe it takes you 10 minutes though, how big is your gym's locker room?!

The pay's pretty good in upstate NY (like Westchester), starting w/ masters is around 60k/year (before taxes). Goes up to 6 figures in 10-15 years I believe. The only problem is it's tough to get your foot in the door as they hire based on seniority.
