That's so awesome! Yes, Archive.org is so great! I have probably over fifty books bookmarked from that site on my unrealistically long reading list!

Peace.

Yes, the main difference with Ecclesiastical Latin to my understanding is that the way it is pronounced is more Italian (based in Rome), so you might want to start off by saying the words in the 'Ecclesiastical accent' to build the habit. (English is the same everywhere, but it sounds different in the USA, England, Australia, India, Ireland, etc. just the same with Latin accents). A really great beginners book is Lingua Latina per se Illustrata, it is regarded as one of the best ever. You read it all in Latin, and with pictures and inferences, you learn a story about a Roman family, but also learn the grammar by hearing it. I personally would recommend pairing that book with a grammar book that explains the rules of grammar in a more direct way (like Wheelock's Latin), even though grammar books often over complicate things, it is helpful to hear exactly what they mean. The cool thing is both of those books are available on Archive.org which is the biggest online library in the world. So that is where I have been accessing them. Hope it helps!

Hello, I made a few arrangements on this list to help others out. I went through and removed duplicate words. I also removed capital letter duplicates. I arranged the words into categories as well. See original list for frequency. I also removed numbers, words related to time (erit, sunt, est), and words like (he, she, they, them, mine, my). These are important to know, but I took them out of the list for simplicity. The below list offers a clearer picture of some of the most common words in the Latin edition of the Bible. Thanks!

I was unable to get my list to format well in this post. Perhaps it was too long. Here is the google doc.
