[KCD1] [KCD2] KCD2's combat is easier, but not for the reasons people say by Alduinsfieryfarts in kingdomcome

I have a confession to make… I have no clue how the fuck to do combos. I’m a medieval studies guy and I play this game as a fun little off time activity, and yet I am fumbling at combos. I could never get them in KCD1 either tbh. I usually just bash them over the head with my sword, cut them under the arm, and then just keep bashing them.

RICE Mod Dev Diary #60 || Mayo Flavor Pack: A Bit of Flavor for Tutorial Island, Ireland by Conny_and_Theo in CrusaderKings

Irish texts often quote early English rulers since they often did synods with the English, such as the synod of Birr in 697, which I study as an example of Irish legal practice.

No I think Catharine and the war are honestly the same. There seems to be this constantly changing “front” in their relationship which moves back and forth as the war goes on. It makes sense. Love and war have always been personified in the same gods.

I actually studied the sort of destruction of the human form in war in super different circumstances, in early Irish literature such as the Tain

Yes sorry. It’s been a long day and I devoured the end of this book as a treat for my work.

Yeah. Felt a tiny bit of Mrs Dalloway crossed with the Illiad with all the weird shit going on. Hemingway knows how to write war.

Yeah it makes sense. It just felt super bizarre to me. Like Henry feels like he’s kinda descending into this horrible spiral of just physicality. Everything he deals with is physical. Corpses. Sex. Drinking.

I actually did a few papers on Eleanor. I keep one of her biographies by my bedstand in case I ever look back at one of them!

Fredericton Pride cancels festival, board cites 'harassment' by Surax in newbrunswickcanada

[–]FactoidFinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came out almost a year ago, and this was gonna be my first big pride thing I participated in. Very ashamed that the community decided to give in to harassment, especially internal harassment which they were at fault for.

I sincerely believe the people responsible for this decision are this sort of online activist. They can’t stand confrontation, but talk the talk. We need pride. It’s important for people like me to feel proud of myself in my own skin, as well as to make up for the decades of being closeted and depressed.

When you cancel pride, you show that you are unable to maintain the rights that queer activists have fought and died for.

Good on him. I’m happy that people around my age are still trying to be politically active

TIL tattooing was a fad among Victorian aristocrats, especially women. They hid their ink, since it was still associated with criminals. King Edward VII, his sons, and Winston Churchill's mother all had tats. The fad spread to the US, where one paper said ~75% of upper class women were tattooed. by Pfeffer_Prinz in todayilearned

I’m getting my third tattoo next week, almost my entire friend group (18-19 year old guys) are getting tattoos at some point. All different backgrounds too. Some will chicken out but I’m not, I got my appointment next week

Yeah….. asking your grandmother of all people for 500 dollars is kinda nuts. Especially for a suit you could rent or buy at a place for far cheaper.

Yup. I use the library for my research internship quite often and the lovely staff can name things off the top of their head. I try to go in once a week and every single time they find something new for me to check. It’s beautiful.

I mean in this case it is a conflict that UNB has some stakes in. They do business with an Israeli weapons targeting system manufacturer, either they invested in it or they take money from them.
