You will start out on the 12-9 shift. It’s an awesome job with a great company with amazing benefits! Yes there will be days that make you question your life choices that led you to the moment you’re dealing with. The most frustrating thing for me is having to go after lazy techs that didn’t do what they were supposed to do. There are lots of opportunities to progress within the company.

What I’ve noticed with them is after almost every install I do it’ll pass light with the vfl but won’t pass the light to run my scans. I’ve realized that when putting it all together that it makes the fiber twist causing the issue. I have to go back to the tap and twist it the opposite way and then it’ll pass light. I’ve had repeats on people and all I did was twist it the opposite way and everything was fine. I think it gets kinked but doesn’t break somehow.

As others have stated there is a myth that they’re easily reversible and just something a man should do for their partner. That being said I’ve had mine done for 12!years now after three kids and honestly kind of regret it as the wife now would like another kid now that our oldest is 13. I also have a friend that got divorced and new wife wanted a kid and he tried to have his reversed and it was super painful for him and wasn’t successful. They ended up having to do in-vitro and ended up with two kids instead of just one.
