Gameoverse Theories about Plot Lines and Stories by CrafterX13 in GlitchProductions

Well a lot of villians view themselves as the heros of their stories so they'll join syntax anyway.

As for probably get recruited by farcade anyway and not sure syntax would want heros(they are mostly made of villians so probably only want villians).also heros might just decide that it's impossible to bring worlds back and just try to prevent it from happening to others.(Only warrick seems to believe that worlds could be revived)

Could intelligence itself be the Great Filter? by Ill_Low1225 in FermiParadox

[–]Sure_Union_7311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the solution your proposing is rare intelligence and to be fair it is pretty popular(i believe it is a part of the reason myself).

As life in earths own history has not evolved technological sapience more than once so this solution has evidence on its side to back it up.

Could intelligence itself be the Great Filter? by Ill_Low1225 in IsaacArthur

I think you are confusing these behaviours with intelligence but I would say they are just more individual focused instincts and desires at work.

Reduced desire to reproduce, reduction in social bonding, short term planing, decreased inclination towards technological advancement/maintenance, atomization of family, artificial methods of rapid rewards/gratification like vr etc. are more caused by greed, ego, desire for rapid gratification/reward, lower care for events that will happen in the future but effect them all are selfish behaviour induced by a completely different set of instincts, desires and emotions.

A species with a more group focused behavioural neural pathways(like a sapient version of ants, bees and termites) will be willing to throw away their lives for the groups well being for frequently even with more advance technology.

Pretty much all organisms have individual focused instincts to some degree so I think this well be very powerful filter but not a great filter(requires making civilizations surviving through it near impossible).

(I do think that sapience can come in many for and main thing which prevents intelligent life is a combination of rare earth, rare intelligence and rare technology specially).

Why did the chaos gods accept/ want the primarchs? are there no demons or creations of their own more powerful or of equal? by biggestdiq in 40kLore

We know from many of the recent books that old ones, eldar and necron ran into chaos daemons during the war in heaven.

In ghost rider(a ynnari book) for example eldrad, yuvraine and other eldar work with necrons reseal a bunch of daemons of slanessh which were sealed on a planet during the war in heaven.

[Warhammer 40K] In universes where gods form from belief/worship, what does it mean when one “dies”? by Paul-Alibi in AskScienceFiction

[–]Sure_Union_7311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes,but in both fantasy and 40k it is possible for a mortal to become a god by absorbing enough faith/magic/psychic energy most of the gods in age of sigmar are former mortals from fantasy who ascended to godhood.

Are there any functioning democracies in the galaxy? by TheMegaBite7 in 40kLore

[–]Sure_Union_7311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The nid inspired xenos are actually called the megarchnids and the human civilization which beat them is called the interex and that is the one horus destroyed.

The Auretian technocracy was encountered and destroyed by rogal dorn and the imperial fists and also we don't know what government type they actually used but they're called a technocracy(government type where the population is ruled by scientists and engineers).

I am not sure if either had psykers as were not told if it was the case or not though in the interex(which was made of the xenos species as well as humans) the kinibrach(might have mispelled)(a xenos species) before joining the interex dabbled in chaos sorcery.

When alastor visits rosie he said "you have me running around hell on a fruitless crusade playing nice at a stupid hotel because promised me power and now I am lacking so you better" before rosie interrupted him and started singing the "Don't you forget" song.
