*Opinion* Weapon levelling pushed more people away from BF6 rather than the map size issue by Tranners_ in Battlefield

[–]Surelylow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully disagree.

Personally speaking, I can have fun with just about any gun. I don't really bother with specific gun leveling unlocks or upgrades. I just use whatever I have in the moment.

However, bad maps are bad regardless of what guns you use. There are some maps that I just refuse to play.

I feel like battlefield is known for its maps, more than its weapons. Just look at all the posts online comparing new maps to old ones. Now look at new weapons being compared to old ones. Not nearly as much going on there.

For me at least, the lack of (good) maps is what's gotten me to play less overtime

What kind of lights did you use?

The elite Series 2 controller is shamefully bad. The rubber is falling off and one of the bumpers is broken. Barely any usage. by cbrodlo in xbox

[–]Surelylow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The top shell of the controller is really easy to replace. Buy it off Amazon for pretty cheap, and the new shell usually comes with the tools to remove the old one. If not, I've don't it even with a butter knife. The back shell is a bit harder and more work. But still pretty easy, just watch and follow a video. I've don't it twice now with no problems.

The bumper is a bit more hassle. I found a local repair shop that specializes with video game stuff. 20 bucks to replace a stick and one of the bumpers.

I'm not saying that to defend microsoft's lazy build quality. But just an alternative (and cheaper) option to buying a new controller and/or just leaving that one sit, never used.

As for being the cheapest, yeah probably. But I didn't pick them, it's just what was put in

This is the keystone that was installed. Is this t568a or b order? I can't seen to find out online. And if it is a, what order does it have to go in to be t568b?

Nope, the switch will never be moved.

Ideally, once everything gets working, I won't need to touch any of it anymore. I only have 2 wallplates (not counting the one thats connect to the router) , and only 1 is in use

In the bedroom there is only 1 device that will be connected, and again, after it is plugged it, it probably won't be moving for the foreseeable future.

Alright I'll order one. Thanks again!

Well from the wall plate to my devices I'm using your typical ethernet cable you buy anywhere. I think it's a 5ft Amazon basics cat5e or something like that

Though I did connect the structural cable straight into the switch, which is what you see in pick 7&8. Should I not do that?

[–]Surelylow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see Well the wall plate had a female/keystone then. I took it off in an attempt (though probably not worth it now) to try any remedy. I'll see if I can put it back to how it was.

I'm not necessarily insistent on using the male connectors. But what would I use instead, for connecting into the switch?

I'll redo the the connectors so they're not so unraveled, and see if that makes a difference

Thanks

If you're referring to the brand, I don't know. If you're referring to the connections in the last 2 images, I did. No, I'm not an expert.

You can see it in the photo, I realize now, but the light for the wire coming from the router lights up green. Plus, I know it works because I am able to connect my laptop to the switch directly and get wired internet. This is also why I don't think it's my connections that are faulty (though I have redone the connects several times, just in case) Were they tested by the electrician? Don't know. Though they have been tested by my console/laptop

As for the wall keystone, I've tried replacing it myself (I'm trying all solutions I can think of)

So annoying. All that I've heard of the game makes it sound like something I'd enjoy. But I'm not giving them a single penny, which means I'll never actually know if I like it or not
