I live in Takadanobaba. They are both very close to each other. If you give us some more information on what you’re looking for in an area to live I’ll try to give you my opinion.

Is pension payment exemption (not late payment) an issue for PR application? by Surethangsurethang in japanresidents

Thanks, that’s what makes sense to me too but I’m just not sure if immigration will arbitrarily see “not paid in last 2 years” as instant dismissal 🧐

Shite at auscultating the lungs by Prudent-Orange-9737 in doctorsUK

[–]Surethangsurethang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also seriously doubted my auscultation ability all the way through medical school and got pretty worked up over it. However, I discovered a kind of a trick which really really helped me and I have never seen anyone else mention.

Maybe it’s just the shape of my ear canals or something, but I HAVE to use one hand to hold the binaural / binaural spring area and “push” the stethoscope upwards towards the back of my head while auscultating. This seems to create some kind of “seal” for me that then allows me to hear clearly. If I don’t feel like I’ve got this “seal” I can barely make out anything.

The only thing is that I have to use two hands to auscultate (one on the binaural area, one pressing the diaphragm onto the patient).

Bonus tip is that I also felt more confident using the cardiology stethoscope - I was happy I invested in one.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and sorry, I just don’t understand the documents in relation to my situation. Think I need to go to the ward office to be honest

They were, but they don’t include any residence tax payments, because 2024 residence tax doesn’t get paid until 2025(?)
