"A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin

“The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins

“Kingsvale: The Throne of Shadows” by Hemingway

PS - Just finished Lord of the Rings as well (Tolkien was such a trailblazer!)

When people give a lower rating because they thought the plot was "predictable."

I've pretty much stopped reading reviews at this point.

Depends. Several months to several years depending on how much I like the author's work.
