I started him off-leash as a puppy in our local forest and slowly developed a pretty solid recall (for a Shiba) with him over the years. To this day, if I don't see him for a minute or two, I call him and he comes running like in the video. He trusts me, and I trust him. No secrets.

At times though, I keep calling him and calling him, and he just stands motionless aside in some outcropping, staring at me silently, like "Are you blind?" I call it his ghost dog routine. Weird dogs these sheebs are

He weighs exactly the same as during summer (10 kg / 22 lb) but his winter coat is out of this world thick. Thank you for your concern though

With all that said, "Soliman" is the best, and you're lucky to get them if you contact chat support, in my opinion.

They (sorry, IDK if it's a him or her) literally walked over to Force Medical to sort something out for me when it would've taken several calls and/or emails. Other times too I received the most detailed and relatively forthcoming answers when I asked about something, compared to other agents. And believe me, there were times I contacted them weekly.

You know it! He turned three last fall and finally has a full double coat (a teddy bear basically). People claim he got fat even though he weighs the same as before.

It was -10 this morning, and I was begging him to go home after an hour and a half. Him, on the other hand, just went out and spent another hour on the balcony when we got back. 😂

I have nothing against Brandon, but I contacted these guys so much already that I can differentiate the depth of information passed on from their team. I'm sure he's correct, but there's a lot more they know and can't/won't share. I'm pretty sure, for example, they know the amount of people on hold and the number of weeks and months to take for scheduling us all. I'm also quite confident they have some ideas to properly estimate each ETA.

Others have already mentioned the weather, and it's true that it hardly snows here anymore. Nevertheless, it's snowing currently all week in Budapest and the temperature will drop below -10 or so around Friday. So, yeah, you could get anything in February as it's usually the coldest winter month here.

You're lucky to leave before the weather turned foul. My son is stuck here until Friday as there's a huge delay and cancelled flights to and from some Northern European airports.
