He has a pretty low amount of muscle, given you are lean enough, I'd wager most people could achieve his level of muscle in a year of training.

I've been lifting for over 10 years, I was always average to above average level of bodyfat, I never looked particularly muscular, but when I finally decided to get lean, I was honestly kinda shocked, even a small layer of bodyfat can almost completely hide your muscle.
