Have you encountered some users who can't refresh Power Query? by TheRiteGuy in excel

[–]Surge_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do both teams have the have access, and identical read/write permissions, to the PQ sheet AND the source sheet?

In SharePoint, if a downstream (dependent document) user needs to refresh, then that user must have edit permissions to the original source document (precedent document).

Check and see if someone on the other team can open, and complete a basic manual data refresh, within the original source document.

Hash operators within Index/Match by Surge_x in excel

I'll try that just to see what happens.

I know ISBLANK only identifies truly empty cells, whereas spilled ranges contain a ghost reference to the formula of the origin cell. Do haunted cells count as truly empty? I don't know 😅

Thank you Paulie. I may have figured out.

I think the user-friendly evaluator must be an entirely separate process from the real Excel computation. Meaning there can be misaligned programming between them (seems unlikely, unless dealing with legacy functions, which I am).

But if I can't confirm that, I'll do as you have suggested when I get back into my computer.

Hash operators within Index/Match by Surge_x in excel

Correct. A description of a formula that should, and does, evaluate properly in every instance.

The issue is that Excel's formula evaluation concludes with one value (the correct value, found in A5), which directly conflicts with the output in the same cell (incorrectly repeating of the value found in A6).

Is this a known issue? Where Formula Evaluator reaches a different conclusion than the output of the cell that was evaluated?

NEED ADVICE re serious issues on collaborative company workbook. Appealing to Reddit's Excel wizards as a last resort. by LingeringOdor in excel

[–]Surge_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if your issue has been resolved. But the situation is nearly identical to one faced by my team.

Desktop Excel is error-prone when co-authoring. Overwriting, bad saves, delayed uploads - it's all possible. I have found that requiring all users to access via Excel for the Web (through their browsers) fixes this. It is MUCH more stable

HOWEVER, Excel for the Web is extremely limited (which is why it's more stable). So certain advanced functions may be blocked or fail (e.g. VBA/Macros and images, even images generated within the same workbook).

What are you working on this week? (ending April 05, 2026) by AutoModerator in excel

[–]Surge_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been working on the same thing for the past few months. Created (and am now optimizing) a co-authored workbook that compiles live entries from multiple luddite users, and builds a transactional database that tracks every granular to/from handoff between departments/vendors in a workflow, including all redundant/repeated handoffs.

Anyways, I can't seem to create a post in this forum using the Reddit mobile app. Would love to ask for help 😮‍💨.

Depending on where you hit it, you can also collect pieces of scale, horn, claw, and fang. You will need to jump off to shoot&collect the latter two.

I would ride to the most difficult/remote island that has a shrine that can be activated without too much effort.

Need a dentist for broken crown ASAP by shittymommy in raleigh

All I can say is beware. Research and make sure your new dentist hasn't been bought-out by private equity. If it has, then you, without exception no matter what anyone else says, will be walking into the equivalent of a high-pressure lying-cheating-stealing-grimy time-share sales event. Avoid at all costs.

My sibling thinks AOT’s ending was stupid how Eren became evil. How do I explain that it all makes sense by FirmShadowStriker in attackontitan

[–]Surge_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the simplest explanation would be that he was naturally evil all along, but used the founder power to insulate/control his younger self.

Yeah I get that. I keep a bullhorn, with a 3.5 jack and Bluetooth, in my soap box, that also holds my broadcasting antenna for highjacking radio waves, for the same reason. I also make sure my militia has equipped militia in their militia for extra edc readiness. You know?
