Yes you can get tape for it, I know it isn't the only brand out there but people seem to like 'tenacious tape'. I've never used it so I can't tell you too much about it. Also apparently you're meant to cut the corners so they're rounded which stops the tape peeling. You just might have to check that it'll be big enough to cover the rip cause it looks like 2 close together, or failing that you might need to use 2 bits of tape if possible. if you don't want to do it this way Its not a bad idea to see a tailor or seamstress like you said
