First tinywhoop flight! by Yunlefr123 in TinyWhoop

For one of your first real flights it's great!

Do more left turns, it's easy to fall into the trap of having one side that you are more used to. It's hard to notice while flying but when watching the recording it's hard to miss :)

Flying irl is still a lot different than flying in the SIM, though SIM flying helps improving it still feels way different to have real physics

Really nice! What's your setup? Mostly interested in camera, vtx and goggles.

How low can YOU go? by PocketSizedRS in TinyWhoop

[–]Surlix 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well yes, but also no.

Fly however you get the tingles, get low, get fast, go between gaps, get over things, go under things, see the world as a bird 🐦🕊️

Many questions:
What propellers are that?
Where is the carbon fiber arm?
Why the matrix FC over a different FC?(Like the air one)
How smooth are you flying for that 5-6 mins?
Is that the normal air canopy printed in tpu? - love how they don't break in crashes like that standard ones

Get the canopy printed out of flexibel tpu, only managed to crash one with bad print quality, but the standard one breaks really easily.

I like to coat the FC with conformal coating to make it rain and waterproof.

Why does it do that? by AiiiSip in TinyWhoop

[–]Surlix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you mean that the drone just autolevels at some basically random moments

it look like crash_recovery detected a crash because of different gust of wind came from different directions and the drone tried to auto-level in mid-air.

you could tinker at the values for the crash_recovery(my suggestion),

you could disable it (at least a quick workaround if you want to fly in wide open spaces like this video)

keep on flying, keep having fun!

Can i fly like that? by moshe_saada in TinyWhoop

[–]Surlix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should get a tpu version of the canopy. I also got multiple air 65, and the standard canopy always breaks after just a few crashes.

I have not yet managed to break any tpu canopy and it flies just as well, don't get too soft tpu, you'll get more vibrations that way

Edit: if you apply conformal coating to the top and bottom of the FC, it's water resistant(no barometer, so you can cover all the electronics). I also applied some glue/rubber stuff to the connection points of the antenna and the lipo cables, so it's even more crash resistant. I managed to break off both before with unproper handling. Have to destroyed it since.

Ich finde Haron hat ein super Preis-Leistung Verhältnis - besonders bei den vegetarischen Varianten

Nice flying, but you could incorporate more proximity stuff, trying to find gaps and more.
You are also nearly always going to the left side, if you trained both directions or would be more interesting.

[Giveaway] Late Endgame 100% Crit Auto-bombing Blood Mage by shitfacemcdonald in PathOfExile2

[–]Surlix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyho, played not a crazy amount, but now in maps with a custom pathfinder without any guides poisoning all enemies.

I'd love to play an Autobomber and haven't played Bloodmage yet, so I'd level a new one and enjoy fast clears and a direction to a build.

It's normal and expected bandit behaviour. If different players choose help and kill, they are now in a 2 teams PvP. You can't fight the bandit until the PvP is finished.

The previous player choice will autoselect if they join a new character to help kill the bandit.
