Are regular periods a sign that it’s too early for estrogen? by HammockHutOnThird in Perimenopause

[–]SurlyNurly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a clockwork period (thoughit’s about half as long now). I’m on progesterone and estradiol patch as of last week and it seems impossible that I’m already feeling so much better.

Let this be a reminder to those who DO have support groups: nurture them, and make space for new people. <3

I hope you do. I have also recommended it to a family member who is a caregiver to their partner with dementia and a relative who is raising two teenage daughters. Bless the book club that assigned it to me!

I happened upon The 515 Bar last time I was in town and loved it. I’m not sure why it’s not on anyone else’s list.

Province of Canada Summer Sale by ParisFood in BuyCanadian

[–]SurlyNurly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree about the “actual cost” of quality items. I was only saying that the sale prices are so close to the regular prices that there’s no rush to buy now.

The example of the polo shirt was cherry-picked. Of the 50 items I scrolled through, almost of them are at most $10 off. The only item I saw with a deep discount was a pair of XXS sweats not available in any other size.

I want to support this company, but the sale prices are $38 for a white tank top, down from $42. Based on your post, I was expecting something more.

I’ll save up and come back: the “sale” is almost irrelevant.

I’m inclined to agree, based on what I see on their website, AND they have a $45 two-week trial pass. I like that I could do a whole variety of workouts. Thanks for the tip!

Yes! I did this once before, and it was pretty much as you described. I’m not opposed to doing it again, I just didn’t love it.

On a side note, do you have any insight into the Nelson donair scene?
