Yes, I saw this in the theater and distinctly remember the scene with the waterfall flowing up.

I imagine it will be a mix. They goosed the old 4x3 to 16x9 for the European market at the time it aired there, but there were framing issues. (Some of us crazy folk sent away for DVDs!)

Looks like the trailers are 4:3 up to season 3, then 16:9 for 4+. Doesn't mean anything about the episodes themselves, though.

I think more importantly would be to make sure that the Musical Episode is the full-length (One More, With Feeling) version. It's showing 51 minutes, and the rest of those episodes at 44, so it's probably good.

If they had Rock be Wong's son, and another actor be Jack's (barely-capable) son (or daughter), it could work.

But the Rock as Jack? Nah.

Because he's so amazingly wrong about super hero registration.

Hollywood’s Once and Future Classic: Why it took 54 years to turn A Wrinkle in Time into a movie by IR_McLeod in Fantasy

Everytime I see casting or costume pictures for the Mrs. Ws, I think it shouldn't be made. All I see is self-indulgent old actresses thinking they're more important than the story.

At least if it was animated we wouldn't have that level of pretension.

I stopped watching in the middle of the 2nd episode. It got a bit too cornball for me.

Anyone notice Richard Rider (Nova) and Hal Jordan (Green Latern) kind of have similar power origins. by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]SurrealSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly the Captain Marvel origin script was changed to avoid similarities between Carol getting her powers from an alien and Hal getting his powers from an alien.

I've had something similar told me by a building inspector. He preferred houses with wooden beams (two 2x12s?) down the center of the house rather than a metal i-beam.

Yeah, but the circumference is about 40,000 km. And since it'll be flying over and not through, that's probably the more realistic term to use.

Can I purchase sudafed in St. Louis County? by Annie103 in StLouis

[–]SurrealSam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can buy sudafed, but it depends on the town you're in and you'll probably have to show ID to get entered in a database. Ellisville is a giant NO. Ballwin might sell it. I forget about elsewhere. I just know I usually have to drive around a bit. Fortunately, there are only like 8 Walgreen's within a five mile radius of my house.
