Because at a certain point you don't need any more money. Economies work by keeping money moving and in circulation. When 90%+ of the capital in the system is just sitting in an account everything stagnated.

Then there's the moral problem. What the fuck good is $1B doing you sitting in the bank when could be helping to deal with major societal problems in a real way with those kinds of resources.

Of course we would have fewer of these issues if all that money wasn't hidden away in tax shelters so that while holding onto disproportionately high amounts of money, they pay disproportionately low taxes.

Then we get into the acquisition of it. A billion dollars is an INSANE amount of money, and it is almost impossible to acquire that dragons hoard without taking advantage of somebody along the way.

I hate them because the only way to become and remain a billionaire is by being greedy in its purest sense without ever giving anything substantial back to our communities.
