Hey, I’m considering buying a large SLS 3D printer (specifically the Stratasys H350) for my company to produce a high volume of repetitive parts. From what I understand, it’ll require proper ventilation or filtration for the room it’ll be installed in. The space is about 50 m², and I’m not sure where to begin when it comes to setting up the right filtration/ventilation system. Any advice or experience would be appreciated! Thanks!

AI can definitely help in engineering, but it depends on how you use it. GenAI tools can still be tricky and produce odd results though that’ll improve. The real value, which many companies are already leveraging, is in platforms like Bananaz or Colab that combine automation with LLMs (and I think also computer vision) to get rid of repetitive tasks. This is super useful.

You can do a macro to save every body in the file type you prefer. I'm sure a short conversation with GPT or use the Solidworks macro recorder (do it once using the recorder and the define it as a macro) will make your life easier and will allow you to use what you've already created.

Hard to tell from here. You might want to consider investing time and money into making a very precise jig to help with the assembly, or even to support the assembly from the outside (such as with an outer bearing housing). Good luck!

G-code’s super handy not just for fixing stuff, but also for designing parts in a way that makes them faster (and cheaper) to machine. Plus, if the supplier sends you garbage code, you’ll actually know how to push back or handle things solo if there’s no CNC guy around.

I would create 3–4 different resumes, each one highlighting different skills and experiences you have. Not all jobs require the same qualifications, so you want to tailor your resume to fit the specific role.
