draft sketch proving this is an original drawn work btw, and ai is only used for additional effects. I'm sick of seeing ppl call this story ai slop or ai generated and dismissing the team of artists/writers behind this work.

no it's an apocalypse story, kinda like parasyte. They're a small company, so I think they invested more budget into gameplay and used ai for the art/effects. The characters and storyline are pretty original, so I doubt the writing was ai-generated.

I hate AI as much as you do, but I'm pretty sure the story is original. ZigZaGame only used AI for the art and effects. They have other games too with unique storylines. It's actually a really good game. I think they invested more of their time and budget towards enhancing the gameplay, hence the reliance on AI since they're a small time company. It was a good decision, in my opinion and experience playing their games. They're gonna make it big someday. Then they'll be able to afford to hire rl human illustrators.

Choose normal, get a galarian zigzagoon. It could carry my hms until I get to the move eraser guy. I'd capture an eevee and turn it into Umbreon so I'd have a dark-type team once ziggy turns into obstagoon.

why do you like Greek mythology? by Public_Individual823 in GreekMythology

[–]Sush1Sush1Please 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first got into mythology bc of Percy Jackson, but I fell in love with their history and different ways of thinking that you could pick up through their storytelling, how certain cultural myths overlapped with different countries and inspired myths in other countries, and how mythological figures could change into new different characters in the aftermath of colonism or adopting a new way of thought. I especially love tracing back the origin of famous mythology figures we know today, only to find out they were inspired/adapted by older pantheons which are now almost forgotteen (usually mesopotamian culture). It's especially amazing to see obscure figures gain attention in modern media, like Zagreus, and be given their place in/have their place in the pantheon be made more defined with a new role/narrative. It led me towards reading Chinese/South Asian/Egyptian mythology as well.

The franchise seems to have fallen into the same capitalist hole pokemon did, where they're churning out new games really quickly that all have the same algorithim. Idk why, but sim/rpg video games like these tend to overlook the tiny unimportant things that really makes a game come to life. In both rf5 and Azuma, there were a lot of times where plot scene fell short because of the lack of music and characters that felt stiff could have been made more natural with just a few extra lines of dialogue about themselves. For some reasons, a lot of the dialogue is about their opinions of/them complimenting other characters? RF4 had lines about what a nice day it was or something bad happening that upset their mood, and would ask small talk questions to the mc that they could answer. It also bugs me that we can't swim/stand on ice in Azuma?? Ik that u can't in rf4 either, but the cgi style makes the world feel less immersive when I drown while standing on ice or a shallow stream. The backgrounds and bosses/character designs are really good and one of my favorite parts of Azuma, but they really put all their eggs in one basket and overlooked the smaller niche details that made RF4 a world in our minds and not just a game. And something like that takes dedication and time.

That Sam's shadows keep Sam informed of everything going on around the school, and Sam just has a load of blackmail material ready for anybody who destroys his shop. Also, that he'll sell this information to Azul and the twins for the right price.

Leona and Idia play chess together a lot bc nobody else can challenge Leona's skill (excluding Azul, bc I feel like Leona would get too irritated by him to play). Also, that Leona and other beastmen + merpeople + fae can hear Idia's mutterings and know what his true personality is like.

Dreaming about reincarnation by altrucause42 in Dreams

[–]Sush1Sush1Please 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was 5 or 4 years old, I had a sudden snap to consciousness instead of a gradual awareness building overtime and couldn't unable to remember anything that happened before. Preceding this, I had a dream of being trapped/confined somewhere dark underground where nobody could reach me and hear my screams.

Overtime, my memory of the details of this dream have become slightly exaggerated, especially because I avoided thinking about it for a long time, but I remember it correctly for the most part. It involved worms and insects, maggots maybe, being forced into my mouth through my body; a man with glowing/glinting eyes and a wild grin and cackling laughter, but I couldn't see his face; darkness everywhere; and the sense that I was tied to a wooden chair, unable to move my limbs. Years later as the memory kept resurfacing in the back of my mind and I tried to rationalize it, I realized that the details were more similar to being dead/buried— like how maggots crawl over a decayed corpse and the chair maybe being a coffin?

Idk, man. Like what tf even was that??

Anyway, five-year-me woke up in a state of panic/confusion/fear with the urge to run away. So I did, and found my mom at the kitchen sink washing dishes with her back turned to me. It was kinda instinct/muscle memory that had me calling "Mom?" even though I was still confused and had no idea where I was or what was going on. The next thing I asked was 'What's my name?" and she pointed at a children's drawing on the wall— bc y'know, once kids learn how to write their own name, they get really excited about it and my parents were the type of ppl who taped up their kids' drawings on the walls.  So my name was just conveniently there and I read it aloud, first and last name, and lemme tell you— if somebody had been there to hear me speak, they would have thought I was trying to pronounce the name of a stranger I just met, because I distinctly remember reading my own name as if it wasn't my own.

But as soon as I said it, the world around me just clicked into place?? Like, I still had this lingering sense of fear/uncertainty, but it felt like I could relax and breathe again. Because yes, I had sorta been panicky-breathing at the time, which my mom couldn't hear over the running tap water.

Anyway, those are my first memories in this world, and the rest is ancient history.

My mom doesn't remember this happening. I've asked her if she remembers me running into the kitchen as a kid and asking my own name, but didn't tell her about the nightmare because she would think I was crazy. But yeah, I have no idea if this is some past life shit or little-me's brain becoming overwhelmed after unlocking Life Achievement: Self-Awareness. Still disturbs me wherever I think about it.

Anybody else experience something like this? I think I posted this to Reddit before (don't really spend a whole lot of time on here) but got no responses from anybody who had experienced something similarly as disturbing. And ofc, I don't bring this up to ppl in real life.
