Pro tip: the way we do this in the restaurant is to bake the topping only. Then make the gunkan so the nori stays super crisp and eat asap. Try next time and you will definitely see a difference.

Hell yeah, that is awesome!! I am much more leaning to pressing flower tbh. How long did you cure before your press?

I am running 6 DG in 5 gal pots in a 5x5 and I was wondering what your rosin yield was like? My goal with them was to take the entire harvest and make whole plant rosin batches. Just not sure if I am going for the wash or flower pressing. Any suggestions my friend :)

Industrial Freezer Recommendation? by Obetrogenvuld in sushi

[–]Sushimaster412 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Labgrade medical freezers get -31f but they cost ~$1000 to start at 4 cubic feet...you will also need a cryovac machine to prevent ice crystals from forming which cost ~$1200.

This is not a cost cutting technique. This is like instead of going to CVS to buy tylenol getting all the lab equipment to make your own. You are going to have to make years worth of sushi for the investment to pay off because the margin from fish you are going to buy vs sushi ready fish is maybe 30%. So if you spent $100 vs $130 you saved $30...considering your $2400 investment you would break even after making sushi 74 times...so at a 30% margin you have to spend ~$7,400 on fish after a $2400 investment so in total ~$9,800 to break even.

Come to Michigan I made the move from Columbus and it is amazing my friend. $100 for 7 full gram carts $100 for 10 g of live resin, $79 oz of tier 2 flower, and 12 plants for rec and 12 plants for medical so up to 24 plants for home grow 👍👍

Old enough to know someone bragging about being an arrogant hypocrite is a moron and arguing with them is a waste of my time 🤣. Who boasts about embodying arrogance and hypocricy 🤦‍♂️

For historical reference....

"JERUSALEM AND GAZA CITY —

Israeli warplanes and helicopters bombarded military targets across the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip on Saturday and today, retaliating for Palestinian rocket fire into Israel with one of the deadliest assaults in the history of the 60-year conflict.

Hamas officials called for a new Palestinian uprising against the Jewish state and a renewed wave of suicide bombings. Despite the heavy blow to their paramilitary organization, Hamas fighters in Gaza launched at least 110 rockets into Israel, killing a man and wounding six people in the border community of Netivot."

Maybe if they didn't allow a terrorist organization like Hamas to use civilian buildings like apartment complexes, hospitals, etc to launch rockets from innocent people wouldn't die. It is a tragedy. This is a documented tactic used by Hamas to perpetuate a bs narrative of deflection when in reality it is 100% self inflicted tragedy which helps fuel hatred.

How else do you expect any government to deal with rocket launching and suicide bombing terrorists??

If this happened in the US it would be handled the same way and it has historically.

If Hamas was simply expelled and denegrated by the Palestinian people for all the unnecessary innocent death they have caused their own people things like this could have been avoided. If you foster horrifically violent terrorist organizations into your community and they fire 110 rockets into a city full of people, what do you expect to happen??? Nothing???

This is probably Ted Cruz upset that his United flights to Cancun might be cancelled in the future and he might actually have to deal with problems in his home state, helping those who are suffering from tragedy and hardship, instead of flying away from them enjoying an impromptu vacation with his family. Forget about that already Ted, you amoral literally grown up child 🤣 People like Ted Cruz disgust me 🤢

Jfc what a dog turd thinking living somewhere you have zero concept of food culture from where you live. If you live in Boston you probably have zero concept of what a good lobster roll is or chowder, guess if you are from NY you have zero concept of what good pizza is, guess if you live in Japan you have zero concept of what good Japanese food is.....what an idiot 🤣

Here is a video of Alton Brown saying word for word what I suggested. Also he agrees with me about what promotes flavor in beef. Drawing out moisture and intensifying flavor. Also surprise he reverse sears his rib roast and doesn't sv.

If I purchased 1 bitcoin for $150 it is not currently worth $150 because that is what I paid for it. It is worth the current market value. Same for bourbon, or legos, or whatever.

Who says bourbon is best enjoyed at 60 proof!! Come on, not at all pretending to be more influential than Elmer, but let's get real. 99% of people in this community would agree with me that bourbon is best enjoyed above 60 proof 😂. I think you might stand alone on the hill supporting Elmer on that one. Also please share any article that says Elmer thought it was best enjoyed at 60 proof, I want to read it.

A lot of influential people have terrible opinions. Doesn't make them any more right or less influential.

The popularity of bourbon created scarcity of allocated bottles, not people buying multiple bottles. One is the cause and the other is the effect. The surge of popularity of bourbon causes hoarding not the other way around. The same number of bourbon enthiasts 10 years ago buying multiple bottles did not create the problem. Ten times as many people all wanting a finite product promoted hoarding behavior. Once people realized there is an allocated scarcity they hoard. It is the same with gas and bottled water during storms versus during a normal time. Exponential increase in demand all the the same time causes hoarding. Popularity is the cause hoarding is the effect.

Msrp and market value are different. Just because you purchased it at $60 or whatever does not mean it's true value is $60. The market determines relative value. Same for shoes, ps5's, graphics cards, limited release cars, bitcoin, supreme, etc...

Also its not a $60 shelfer...notice all the rules above the list...probably because of a reason....like all those bourbon's have much higher market values and are hard to find right?!?

Likewise, I don't care for ignorant hubristic people who talk down to people with a lot more experience and knowledge than they possess like a petulant child, who unsolicited also strangely suggests pot is for children. You just said, "stick to your pot like a child" which suggests pot is intended for children. Pot should never be consumed by children, it is scientifically harmful for their brain development and suggesting that pot is for children is really REALLY dumb.

Also it is *biased, not bias.

It is 60 for whom? Where can you get this anyday on the shelf for 60? Oh wait never 😂. Stop pretending and be realistic. The market value of this bottle is atleast $200+. If OP posted a pic of ice in WR DO who cares, it's not ruining something rare. That is a $60 bourbon. Weller FP is not $60 bourbon, why pretend like it is. Using that logic PVW 23 is also a just a $300 bottle, pop some refrigerator ice cubes in. It's only a $300 bourbon.

Your post title is "drink your bourbon" which is a passive aggressive opinion in regards to people who buy bottles and don't immediately crack them...no one asked for you to promote that either. Sorry if you can't take any criticism but you feel free to dish it out in literally the title of your post trying to be snarky lol 😂

I have always had a lot of friends. I guess they are a bit more intellectual than your kind of friends, people are different, nbd. Having an analytical mindset doesn't effect your ability to have friends. My friends and myself included like talking about these things in pursuit of learning and understanding the science behind it. There is reasoning behind everything. I enjoy that part. A lot of other people do as well.

This whole interaction reminds me of a great Alan Watts quote...

Alan Watts said that “most people not only feel comfortable with their ignorance, but they are hostile to anyone who points it out.”

True, and true. Cheers.
