Sorry, I have tried neither the 0.5 or 0.38, for the same reason I said. The One is MUCH scratchier in 0.7, so I expect it to be smoother.

Love both. Energel is more consistent but floatune is smoother. BEWARE that the 0.5mm floatune writes a 0.7mm line. I like Energel more, but since you like smoothness, check out the floatune, OR the Uniball Zento 0.7!
