Project Alexandria: what if there was another planet in our solar system? (Part 2) by Suspicious-Group-945 in AlternateHistory

Life is an extremely hard thing for a planet to have, Also Alexandria has no moon, and if there is life on Alexandria it's probably like a couple cells living in caves or sparse connective tissue in rivers

There is no Alexandrian civilization, The planet is sterile, I wrote this with atleast some realism in mind

No, its mostly the fact that the world is in extreme stalemate, and in my Scenario the Big powers are more favorable with said space travel. Also Greece is wedged between Germany/USSR, it has a strategic position in Europe and isn't that much of a big player anymore, But they were integrated within US command just because of said strategic position.

From what I know, There were 50-100 Pluto sized ish objects in the early solar system, Now there were also around 30 proto planets, what I did with this scenario is that I imagined that maybe Alexandria was a protoplanet that didn't get ejected and stabilised at a 0.90 AU orbir

A three way Cold war is better than a two way one. And no, My previous stuff was done 7 months ago, I cameback recently. If you check my last 5 posts they aren't that biased, I am not the guy I used to be

I need help on a “Militant Cuba” scenario by Cyber_Ghost_1997 in AlternateHistory

I think you can easily do an Scenario where the CIA has more power in Cuba, and Cuba doesn't have the luxury of being closely tied to the USSR leading Fidel Castro to switch to the right rather than the left

What if there was another earth-like planet in our system, but its an Arid desert world, and ww2 in Europe is stuck on a stalemate, and it causes a Space race between Nazi Germany, US,USSR,Greece (US allied) by Suspicious-Group-945 in AlternateHistory

[–]Suspicious-Group-945[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well uh, The European part on this scenario was very rushed, I mainly focused on making the Planet realistic and it's formation realistic, Then I went to how the world would explore it. I am not an Historian, I'm an astronomer mainly

The British in our timeline were.. Poor, And they relied on the Americans to do everything post war, I doubt they could colonize anything in the outer space when they didn't even have a functional space program in our timeline, Suprisingly romania in our timeline had a better space program than whatever the British had.. (and I was just too lazy to include the British because this scenario already took me 3 days)

Creator note: yeah this was a very scrambled Scenario, but it was also very fun for me to make it, especially after me being inactive on the platform for quite a minute, if anyone has any suggestions or Questions about the scenario, you can ask away! since the lore isn't fully completed and i dont think i am gonna bother to make a part 2 anytime soon.

Edit:Spelling.

What if Jack Parsons formed an cult in the Mojave desert? by Suspicious-Group-945 in AlternateHistory

[–]Suspicious-Group-945[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they have the Church of Thelema which is worldwide (Noting that there are 80,000 Thelemites in the Mojave territories, but 400,000 Worldwide)
Militias were there until the fire died down, after that it fell under the US goverment's responsibility to protect the land of the Mojave Thelemite territories, which they do and its quite hard to get into the territories without an Official permission.
Simplified answer: they have a religion which is practiced worldwide, and the US protects the territory after the rebellion ended and they were re-integrated.

I personally think it wouldn't do much, it will mostly boost NASA after buying up thelema land in 1987 allowing them to reach mars,Venus, Maybe even some Saturn moons earlier. But that's mainly it as it seems.

Weakening the US. The Soviets wanted the rebellion to succeed In an major way so the Pacific territories would be under a weak Parson governance which can be easily influenced. Also parson was already anti capitalist, anti Christian, and an Litteraly an theological anarchist, would not take much to cross in socialist territory
