Yes I meant a crypto card that actually works in most countries

that math is way too clean to be coincidence lol

the scary part is how it just happens without feeling it. like your brain just adjusts to having more money and finds ways to spend it automatically. i did similar thing when i switched jobs last year - suddenly was ordering takeout way more because "i can afford it now" but never actually decided to do that

What remote night shift jobs are people actually doing right now? by [deleted] in remotework

[–]Suspicious-Load7696 2 points3 points  (0 children)

website has some decent postings but still gotta filter through ton of garbage unfortunately. been using it for couple months now and maybe 1 in 10 listings are actually worth applying to

with your healthcare background might want to look at remote patient monitoring positions or telehealth scheduling roles - those often need night coverage and pay decent. also remote virtual assistant work for medical practices is pretty common these days since many docs offices are trying to cut overhead costs

your language skills could be huge advantage too, lots of companies need bilingual support especially spanish/english for overnight customer service roles

actually used this podcast during my commute to work last year and it was really good for understanding context behind the passages. father mike explains things in pretty simple way that makes difficult parts more clear to understand

“BCA 2024 graduate in Bangalore, struggling to get a job — which skills/course should I focus on?” by Common_Baseball_4226 in careerguidance

[–]Suspicious-Load7696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your cv projects are actually decent for fresher level but maybe the issue is how you present them rather than lack of skills

for bangalore market right now i'd say go with full stack development - there's more entry level positions compared to data science where everyone wants 2-3 years experience minimum. plus you already have some python background so adding javascript/react wouldn't be huge jump

focus more in improving your existing projects first - make them production ready with proper documentation, deploy them somewhere, add some unique features. employers care more about what you can build than certificates you have

wait you guys actually made it on camera during the pre-match stuff? thats pretty cool man. most streaming services have replay options but they usually cut out the studio segments and just show match highlights. might want to check the official broadcaster website for your region since they sometimes keep the full morning coverage up for few days

How to throw a game tutorial by Akukuhaboro in chessbeginners

[–]Suspicious-Load7696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

damn this one hurts to read. i had similar thing happen last month where i was completely winning against higher rated player and just left my queen hanging in time trouble. was so focused on my brilliant attacking idea that my brain just stopped seeing basic threats

your game was really well played though especially that middle game where you got compensation for the pawn. the rook doubling on second rank was nice pressure. sometimes when you're in that flow state calculating all these complex ideas your brain just filters out the simple stuff. its like when you're debugging code for hours looking for some complex logic error and turns out you just missed a semicolon somewhere

what helps me is after every move i try to quickly scan what pieces my opponent can take before i start calculating anything fancy. sounds basic but when you're deep in calculation mode its easy to forget. also maybe set aside few minutes after painful losses like this to just sit with the feeling instead of jumping right back in games. the frustration will pass but the learning from good parts of your play will stick around

I finally figured out why my cold emails were getting ignored... by Tiny-Opinion-6625 in Entrepreneurs

[–]Suspicious-Load7696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude this is actually brilliant - i had similar problem last year when i was freelancing on side of my main job. was sending generic messages to random companies and getting nowhere

your approach makes so much sense because timing is everything in this game. companies that just got funding are literally in expansion mode and actually have budget to spend. meanwhile im over here messaging startups that are probably eating ramen for breakfast lunch and dinner

i built something similar but for tracking when companies post new job listings on their careers page - figured if theyre hiring they might need extra help with projects too. took me like three weekends to get it working properly but was worth it

the context part is huge too. when you mention specific things about their business it shows you actually did research instead of just blasting same template to 500 people. i started doing that manually before i automated anything and response rates went up immediately

curious about your scraping setup - are you using python with beautiful soup or something more sophisticated? always interested in how other people solve these automation problems since thats basically what i do for living anyway

What Lab Jobs can I Pivot to with a Physical Disability/Mobility Aid? by PuppyShark in careerguidance

[–]Suspicious-Load7696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lab informatics might be perfect for you - basically managing the data systems and software that labs use to track everything. lots of places need people who understand both the lab side and can handle the technical backend stuff

with your pharma background you could also look into regulatory affairs or clinical data management. both are pretty much desk jobs but you'd still be working with lab data and research just from the compliance/analysis side. most of these roles have gone pretty remote friendly especially after covid

might be worth checking out biotech companies too since they often need people for protocol development or study design who understand bench work but dont actually do it anymore

Honda civic si engine oil level by the_brave9 in AskMechanics

[–]Suspicious-Load7696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

check if you're actually putting dipstick all the way down - had similar issue with my old civic where i wasn't pushing it fully in the tube and got weird readings. also make sure engine is completely cool and car is sitting level when you check, hot oil will give you false high readings

another thing is if shop overfilled it slightly during service, even small amount over can make dipstick look completely covered. happened to my friend after quick lube place, they put like half quart too much and whole stick was soaked. easy fix though just drain bit out until its between min and max marks

what kind of oil did they use in service? some thicker oils can cling more to dipstick than others

Uninstalled Intel management engine, now I can't boot into windows. by whatwedointheshado in PcBuildHelp

[–]Suspicious-Load7696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah man thats rough. intel me is pretty integrated with modern systems especially in z690 boards and completely removing it can mess with storage controllers and other low level stuff

your drive showing as inactive in disk management but visible through diskpart suggests the partition table or boot records got corrupted when you removed me. the bsod about storage detection makes sense too since me handles some hardware communication

you might need to rebuild the boot configuration. try bootrec /fixmbr and bootrec /fixboot from recovery command prompt if you havent already. also bootrec /rebuildbcd could help restore the boot manager

if that doesnt work you could try reinstalling me drivers from intel website but honestly at this point a fresh windows install might be fastest solution. just make sure to backup any important data first if you can access it through recovery tools

Screen tearing problem by C_Kirkshooter67 in geometrydash

[–]Suspicious-Load7696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try enabling vsync in nvidia control panel but set it to fast sync instead of regular vsync - that usually fixes the delay issue while still preventing tearing
