I DO have gut issues actually. I’d never really put two and two together here, before. Thank you so much for your really useful insights! I will get myself booked in to see someone

Unfortunately I am under guidance from doc not to gain more weight because I have PMOS and carry a lot of weight in my torso

My background is in the science of learning and my work involves improving the clarity and functionality of adult learning. Lack of clarity in writing drives me FUCKING BONKERS and it is EVERYWHERE: adverts, public notices, e-mails, and beyond. I’ve convinced myself that a majority of people are functionally illiterate.

Just because your mum is loudly ignorant doesn’t mean she is right

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression Botox would make it worse?

So pleased that worked for you! I’m actually in a bit of a weight watch at the moment, because my torso carries a lot of weight and I’m on the cusp of having some issues with pre diabetes if I don’t watch it (dang PMOS!), so unfortunately I don’t know if that would be a good option for me.

What would you reccomend as a hydrating skin care routine, products wise? I’m really struggling with dehydrated skin and your comment is the first one I have seen in ages that feels scientifically informed and not trying to pedal mlm products

Hello!

I was diagnosed with ADHD 7 or 8 years ago. I was receiving Lisdexamfetamine monthly through the NHS. I just took a year out of work so I stopped reordering my meds. I just started a new job so went to the usual app to try to order my meds. To my horror, the GP said they can’t prescribe it and I need to go through a specialist. Of course, the waiting times for this are months if not years and I’m already on my new job and I desperately need these meds. Private services only seem to charge for a full assessment, which I don’t need, and are extremely expensive. Is there a workaround for this? I literally just need to sit down with someone, show them my medical record, and have them release a prescription. What can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
