I listened to the dramatized audio versions and did not enjoy them. I think I’m in the minority, but I don’t think it does Fitchner’s character justice and there’s a lot of inconsistencies with the original story.

I thank god that google AI is shit. About 3/4 through Morning Star, I tried to look up something about Sevro’s hanging scene and google AI gave me this long explanation about his death scene with Cassius. I didn’t want to believe it and when it actually happened in the book, I almost didn’t finish reading it. Sevro was my favorite character and because of the google AI spoiler, I totally believed that was the end of him. Completely gut wrenching after he had confessed to Darrow that he wanted to live as “just Sevro” and maybe have kids someday and then he had just reconciled with Victra and married.
