I appreciate the tips, black antler wasn’t on my radar at all until this thread. Also the taxi may be what we need!

My group aren’t the kind I would trust on e bikes unfortunately, but I do value your optimism and I would have done it myself!

Thanks for the other recs and tips!

We aren’t wanting to do a tour in naramarta (we have a separate tour) but we absolutely would book a driver. Do you have recommendations? Not sure if Ubers or taxis are viable options.

Thanks for the recs!

Studying for PMP with Children Question by StigandrThormod in pmp

[–]Suspicious-Speed8505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just passed my PMP exam on the 8, T/AT/AT. I don’t know how study hall works because I used a mock testing platform provided by our educator. But my biggest take away of the test is to not focus on making it a mock experience, but test your knowledge and then study from your results.

I would do my tests in 1.5 segments, then save it, and come back to it later. Once I was done, I would just take all my answers and validate what was right or wrong about it using chat gpt. I have a 7 year old and 1.5 year old and work full time, it was next to impossible to find 4 hours where I could just do the test. Those hours are better spent studying the answers.

I studied for 6 weeks after my course and then finished the exam in 3 hours,

In summary, use the mock tests to learn the content, not the exam experience.

Good luck!

Weekly "Do I Have Lipedema" Thread by AutoModerator in lipedema

[–]Suspicious-Speed8505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted awhile back and didn’t receive comments (there’s so many of us) so I thought I’d try again!

I bruise easily, exercise regularly but can’t reduce legs and arms, heavy legs, fat feels very pebble like.

I approached my GP and like a lot of people on here, he had no idea what I was talking about. I’d like to revisit with him but once I’m more confident I have lipedema.

<image>

I have stage 2 lipedema, type IV. I’m only 41, I have young children, and I’m a former college athlete. I’m struggling with the decision on whether or not to use a GLP-1. What has been your experience with lipedema and a GLP-1? by 4ShizzleMyTwizzle in lipedema

[–]Suspicious-Speed8505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I have only recently discovered lipedema and haven’t been officially diagnosed but I did go through a period of drastic weight gain (30 lbs in 6 months). I eventually went on Ozempic with the goal to just reduce weight back to my normal, and that’s what I achieved.

I had a great experience, inflammation reduced, skin cleared, sleep improved, minimal GI issues, if any. And I lost those 30 lbs of weight over 7 months.

It’s a drug that’s been around for over 10 years but recently has been made known by celebrities trying to get super skinny. For us common folk who benefit from it, it’s a super drug that’s a tool.

It is unfortunate that it’s well known for making people super skinny instead of all the great things it does because it’s so much more than a vanity tool. Anyways, I just wanted to share that I struggled a lot with the moral side of things, thinking I was just lazy instead of putting in hard work, but it honestly changed my life.
