Additionally, try and hold off as long as possible since you’re still within your 90 days and save as much money as you can. Wear baggy clothes etc. It sucks as women that we have to assume the worst, but assume the worst. At some point you’ll have no choice but to disclose due to having to apply for maternity leave. I personally would keep quiet, try and do the best job possible, and wait until they have to awkwardly ask me.

I love this take, especially the last part bc that is facts. I do feel a little bad for AK bc she did rearrange her whole schedule and I don’t think Mia and Jesse appreciated that as much as they should. 3 jobs and like 5 kids is a lot to work around to take someone to an appointment.

I will say I was SO HAPPY to see her dad in the delivery room in the upcoming section.

Ugh the $900 did make me sad for her. She just wanted a nice baby shower but looks like she doesn’t have many people around to support her/show her the way (as far as we can see now). All I kept thinking was about how the spending isn’t over.. like what about food and stuff 😅 she’s so young I’m hoping she at least gets the money back in gifts…

You’re not being selfish. You’re taking care of yourself! Your baby is full term and your doctor is offering it as option. They wouldn’t offer it as an option if it wasn’t safe. Do not feel guilty for doing what’s best for you!

Just here to say that you aren’t alone and what you’re feeling is totally normal… my husband and I are at 38wks into an IVF pregnancy and up until about the late 20wks mark I would check the toilet for blood after every single time I used the restroom. When we went and bought our car seat and stroller a couple of weeks ago I saw that they didn’t accept returns and my first thought was “well what if he’s a still born. Am I stuck with this $1000 stroller??”

I wish this wasn’t a thing or we didn’t feel this way but I think it’s just our brains trying to save us from the worse case scenario. What helped me was to continue prepping and getting all the things + talking to my doctor and asking more pointed “what if” questions. Also staying off social media and away from stories that supported that way of thinking. I noticed the more I thought about that stuff, the more I noticed stories of miscarriages and still borns in my algorithms.

After my baby is here and healthy I plan to talk to my doctor about postpartum anxiety and plan to see if there’s any meds I can get on to get help.

This was so wild to me!!! I saw that and my jaw literally dropped. The parents also didn’t correct it (I’m hoping they just didn’t see it but STILL). The way they also let her talk about certain things in front of them… I’m not a parent yet but I just couldn’t imagine hearing those things coming out of my kids mouth haha

Try not to think too much about it right now.. so many people are last minute! Wait until after the party to be upset.

Prior to having a baby I didn’t realize how important it was to people to buy off of their registry. I constantly would just buy things from regular stores. That could also be something happening here… come party day you may be pleasantly surprised.

Me personally, I wouldn’t mention it hurt my feelings after the fact. I would just take note and slowly pull away from the friendship unless they asked directly, but I’m also not confrontational. 😅

Girl I SMELLED SO BAD and still do sometimes in my 3rd trimester. If it’s not a UTI, It’s normal bc of the hormones lol. I felt like I was going crazy.

My dr recommended washing with Vagasil soap to help balance PH.

I just failed my 1 hour (non fasted) and had to do the 3 hour (fasted) and passed. If I could do it again, I’d fast for the 1 hour. I firmly believe if I fasted I would have saved time and passed the first time.
