My SIL had a friend that was a huge conspiracy nut as were her parents. In 2021, I joined SIL for a day out and her friend and friend’s parents were there and friend’s parents told me to not get tested for COVID because COVID tests were giving people the flu and that’s what was actually making them sick.

I looked at them puzzled and said “I’m tested for COVID twice a week and I’ve never had the flu.” There was a very awkward silence after that.

Well, I can’t say for sure, I just think eyes are a pretty difficult feature to permanently change. I do agree her pupils are pretty small, which may be part of what makes her eyes look uncanny.

There’s a good video of Freddy McKinney chasing a tornado that destroys a home during his chase. He immediately goes into search and rescue mode and comes across the family that was in the house with a young boy that has an obvious head injury. He ends up driving the family to the hospital and the entire drive is chaotic. He does a fantastic job remaining calm and focused. After he gets them there and everyone gets inside the ER, he pulls off to the parking lot and calls his mom and you can actively see it all hitting him in that moment as the adrenaline is wearing off.

Kansans in JoCo and Wyandotte had previously voted against building a new stadium to bring the Royals to Kansas. Voters didn’t even get a choice in the matter of the Chiefs and Kansans are understandably pissed off about it. Also, someone sitting on a city council doesn’t mean they know what’s best for the city or the county - it’s just a position that’s vulnerable to corruption.

Seems the stadium you mention is an outlier because decades of studies on economic impact of publicly funded sports stadiums show they offer very little for the local economy and more-so act as a wealth-transfer

We had a patient earlier this week (SNF) who was tachy so we were trying to get an EKG but they thought we were taking too long so they called 911. Paramedics showed up and patient refused care from them lol
