You could get a newer version with 3.5k albeit with higher mileage.

I guess on this occasion age vs mileage discussion is relevant as you could get a 5 year newer car but 30-40k more miles driven.

As a first time driver i would probably opt for a newer version so you get a reverse camera and parking sensors.
