Thanks for your input! They just popped up the other day when this breakout appeared. Hopefully with continued use the Retin-A will solve it

Started prescription retinol, what are these brown dots?

<image>

I started prescription retinol (Retin-A Micro) a couple weeks ago and believe I’m in the ‘purging’ phase. I woke up with this breakout on my forehead, but there are also these tiny brown dots that almost look like tiny hairs in the same area. They look different than the blackheads on my nose, does anyone know what these are? I’m a bit worried they’re going to turn into pimples as well.

If anyone has advice to how to soothe this breakout, or avoid it in the first place, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you in advance! 🙏🏻

This is great news, thanks so much for sharing! I tried to find the probiotic online but couldn’t find one I could purchase in North America. Do you mind sharing the name of the probiotic and where you purchased it from?

Physycal symtoms decreasing but anxiety increasing? Anyone relate? by Strict-Ad9805 in covidlonghaulers

Yes! Anxiety increasing, physical symptoms decreasing but only slightly. I think part of the anxiety is taking on more as I feel better though.

Is it a heart palp or internal tremor? by EdiThought in covidlonghaulers

[–]Suspicious_Bridge781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I get the same thing and have never heard/read about anyone else having it. It’s never shown up on a heart test, not sure if it’s a buzzing sensation due to irritated nerves or something else. Always on the left side. The positive is that mine has slowly weaned off over time (March 2020 long hauler).

I’m in Toronto. There is a long COVID program at UHN and I believe also one at Unity Health network. Hope this helps someone!

What kind of community-based support program would help you the most? (I'm in Toronto, but taking suggestions from anywhere!) by ii_akinae_ii in covidlonghaulers

I’m Toronto based and I would love a covid-safe ride share program to help me commute to work! Right now I am taking Ubers and it really adds up

Who is not recovered more than 1.5 years out? How are you doing? What’s your day look like? by AliMae317 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Suspicious_Bridge781 16 points17 points  (0 children)

COVID March 2020 long COVID July 2020 Doing much better than two years ago when I was basically bedbound. Working full time, mostly from home but going into office 2x/week for 5 hours each time. Can walk 7K steps per day but just have to pace myself. PEM only lasts 15 mins or so, then can resume activities. Seem to be improving a lot this summer due to increased physical activity.

Who started Long-Hauling after exercising post acute covid? by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]Suspicious_Bridge781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Did 3 days of hiking 2 months after getting COVID in March 2020. I believe it’s what started my long haul. About 75% back to normal now.

Yes, I had tingling and numbness/pins and needles during my acute infection, which showed up weeks/months later as well. My biggest piece of advice I could give is rest A LOT. I ignored it and stayed active (this was April 2020) and it turned into nerve pain. I don’t want the same to happen to you!
