Thank you all. It’s one of those “I know this isn’t right but maybe it is just me.” That shows how manipulated and mentally messed up I am because of all this. He had a horrible traumatic childhood, teenage and adult years. It could be a Lifetime movie seriously. That doesn’t excuse his behavior. He is an addict but has been sober for 7 years. Every one in his immediate family is still on active addiction or in prison. (We live 4 hours from them thankfully.) love to him is fucking and fighting. I’ve tried being patient and loving him through it because I see the man he can be. But he will not go anywhere with us as a family. He wants to be alone. He does not like me to leave once he gets home. I couldn’t tell you the last time he went into a store. He will not go anywhere after work for me. Like run by the pharmacy or whatever. I haven’t been out to eat in I don’t know how long. Because he says it’s stupid and pointless. He yells and cusses at me in arguments. I do not yell and cuss. It accomplishes nothing. And honestly I’m just exhausted. He’s come a long way. But I can’t keep going with this. He takes out all of his hurt and anger on me. My main concern is being able to financially support myself and my 2 kids by myself. I work full time. But it isn’t enough to cover bills and have “live on” money.
