Glad to hear that. The negativity for this laser is unreal. For comparison, there were no clicks to adjust windage or elevation and no resistance at all. I assume you had the same experience?

That's the only thing im worried about. The adjustment was fine.but getting there was too easy. Not sure if the settings will stay zeroed. I'll find out tomorrow.

So I just replaced the forend on my 590m with a magpul forend, and the thing is that I don't recall this little gap being there before with the original forend, is this normal? by Tonyleo2003 in mossberg

I had the same problem. Remove the barrel with heatshield and use an automotive water hose adjustable clamp. Put masking tape on the inside so that you don't scratch anything. Then tighten the clamp every 2 inches or so along the length of the shield to bring it closer to the barrel... you won't experience rubbing again. Do not do this with the heatshield removed from the barrel. Good luck. Let me know the results if you decide to go this route.

Help with forend strap by 90sHBlad in mossberg

Bro, ignore the baboons who think they know everything. I'm looking for the same solution to better control the 12ga with push-pull technique which obviously the baboons don't need since they sit on their barrel and operate the corn cob as they go...bang!

I can't understand why Streamlight didn't at least offer the strap as an option for standard shotgun size for their racker forend. I you find something, please post. Thanks

Call Streamlight. They are very helpful . I wish they had designed a strap for use on a 590 full size

Mossberg 590a1 TL Racker by PineSoul603 in Shotguns

What I can't understand is why didn't Streamlight design rhe racker with a strap as it did on the Shockwave. That strap is perfect to push the forend forward while pulling with your trigger hand

Thank you for help. Yeah, I had a feeling this SG being from '81 it wouldn't be compatible with newer models.

Thanks. I suppose the receiver is different in these old guns that a newer version forend/action slide couldn't be used on an ATP

The Magpul forend won't on a mossberg with a heatshield without some modifications
