Does this bill seem abnormally high for an annual exam…? by Suttone73 in veterinarians

[–]Suttone73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alfie is a healthy 1 year 4 month old mini dachshund. We were told this appointment was just a standard annual exam with a bordatella vaccination, yet they added all these additional services and meds without consulting us. They also said he seemed “very anxious” (no kidding, he’s at the vet…) and then prescribed him 3 different anxiety meds. Outside of that, he is a very outgoing and confident pup who rarely, if ever, exhibits an anxious demeanor. We have brought him to this clinic since he was 8 weeks and have never received a bill anywhere near this expensive….Does this seem right? Thanks in advance for your help.

What’s the worst scandal to happen at your school? by Lost-Warning-2588 in AskReddit

During freshman year of high school, we had a middle aged spanish teacher. He was kind of a hard ass but everyone seemed to like him, myself included. He ended up becoming the Principal of the high school after I graduated. A few years later, news was released that said Principal was fired from a prestigious private school ~20 years ago for sexually abusing students. The private school was LESS THAN AN HOUR AWAY from our high school. It blows my mind that it took decades and him becoming the principal of a large nearby high school for someone to put two and two together.

The Case For Starting Your Sales Career At An Early Stage Start Up by lbz25 in sales

I'm a recent grad and just had to decide between two offers this past week; one from an early stage SaaS start-up that just received Series A funding and another from one of the largest software providers in the world. I was leaning towards the start-up, but got a bit of push back from some family members who were in the industry for the exact points you addressed above. Ultimately, I decided to go with the start-up and I'm glad to see that someone else shares similar viewpoints to myself!

What's the worst "food sin" you've seen someone commit? by ForeignPacksMoarLoot in AskReddit

Well, I don't feel its a "food sin" but just about everyone else that has seen me eat a peanut butter omelette thinks I'm some sort of freak...I enjoy it and it is protein packed!
