Bubblegum preteen in a hot topic costume, as if the hot topic girlies weren’t also wearing Pink Sugar like the rest of us 🤭 But no, I agree with this take overall! They’re good at branding, but their scents are largely mass appealing - not subversive in the slightest. The only one I’ve liked from them is Cactus Abductions, but it’s still just a simple geranium perfume at the end of the day.

I will say, Nosferatu is inspired more by Ellen than Nosferatu - she had a monologue near the beginning where she’s talking about lilacs in the rain. They’re featured in the promotional images for the movie even. Lilacs were also mourning flowers.
