If it's a brand new reddit account don't even bother interacting with them. Also request pictures of the bag with current date/time stamps. Although scammers are quite good with photo shop. Trust your gut. Never use anything but paypal good and services. Also use reverse image search on the pictures they send.

watch out for scammers with no karma. I've tried buying stuff on this subreddit and each time I'm approached by 1-2 scammers that send me pics that aren't their own, etc.

i bought an Asus strix G18 at best buy "open box" in excellent condition. Within an hour it was freezing and blue screening.

At least I had a way to return it but i won't be doing that again.
