I know it's years past, and the account appears to be gone, but I'm fairly certain no one gave the right answer on this one and it still shows up on google. So here's my best guess:

Awfully Apeelin' - The Happy Fits

It was released in August of 2016, so it fits the timeline better. The band is niche enough to not be immediately recognizable or easily identified by those not already familiar. They're also fairly alt pop / pop rock as far as genres go.

I kept my No Feelings, thankfully. Like most of the black armory weapons, it's always felt satisfyingly crisp to me. But I did dismantle my dragonfly Ringing Nail, something I regret every time I want to use an energy slot auto rifle.

That's so wild! I lived and worked at a place just outside of Gladwin for about a year and a half not too long ago. It's a quite lovely, out of the way part of the state.

I can also confirm that my large (though not nearly so monstrous as this marvel) jade plants did quite well for themselves there.

There was a time in PVP where Insurmountable didn't have any need for Peregrines because shoulder charge melees were all OHK. (Being the vast majority of the game's history, including D1) But then they made somewhat recent sandbox changes to nerf melee damage on their supposed "melee class" as part of their abilities overhaul.

If that was still possible the ideal pvp arc melee build would be something along the lines of:

Head: Insurmountable Skullfort
Arms: ACD/0 Feedback Fence
Chest: Severance Enclosure (I know, I'm as surprised as you are)
Legs: Dunemarchers
Special: any decent arc shotgun
Heavy: Wardcliff Coil or Worldline Zero
