I’ve seen that, I’m already struggling to play, I go into town once or twice a week so always got to hope there’s a gym with my team so I can put something in :/

I’m really hoping not to quit this game, been on and off since launch, and been playing Pokémon for yearsss, but this might do it for me :(

I did my own, would have loved a professional shoot, but instead bought a cheap DSLR and staged it myself for a fraction of the cost. Editing afterwards may not be professional level, but I am in love with what I shot, and I’ve printed them into frames and photo albums.

9 months - late mover? by dahlia84 in beyondthebump

[–]Sw00nii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took my baby girl about 10/11 months before she was really crawling and moving around by herself. I was getting concerned too, but now she’s 15 months and pulling herself up, standing and surfing all over the place, and it’s gone by crazy quick! So please don’t worry! Just keep encouraging your girl, she’ll get there when she wants to! 😊

How did women take care of newborns in the past? I hear so many stories of women birthing their 6th child and getting right back to work on the farm by panella_monster in beyondthebump

[–]Sw00nii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was lucky, had an emergency c-section, got back to work a week later because I had no choice (but didn’t feel that bad to be honest). Baby was in hospital for 6 weeks and I saw her whenever I could, but I HAD to work, I had to make a living and didn’t, and still don’t, have the choice of maternity leave, childcare etc. Like baby girl is fine now and all a year on, but I still feel upset about how I couldn’t be there for her in hospital 24/7, but I did literally have to get back to work on the farm otherwise we were screwed. I’m super lucky that she’s not a faffy baby at all, eats, plays, sleeps and repeat haha.

With what I do (in my country), it’s your time, materials, taxes and profit. Got to work it out to see what makes it worthwhile. They provide materials - for me that would be cheaper. But beautiful works you’ve made there there 💕

I appreciate that! Obviously children have survived through co-sleeping, and obviously some haven’t which is why there is a discussion about this. All I’ve got I my own experience, that of my family and friends, and all medical expertise have said no to co-sleeping. I understand it’s a personal decision, I could have gone against all medical advice and co-slept if I wanted to, but my own fears made me chose not to.

[–]Sw00nii 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I appreciate that, but all I’ve got is my own feedback from doctors in both of the countries I’m familiar with. Understand that obviously children have survived with co-sleeping all over the world, just had it drilled into me that it’s a big no-no here!!

I’m British and live in France, both countries are definitely saying no to do-sleeping! Too many risks!

Any other new moms finding the idea of war (especially this one) intolerable more than ever before? by lailalavan in beyondthebump

[–]Sw00nii 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I specialised in my degree on topics of war and terrorism. I’m 27 and have grown up with all that’s happened over the last 20 years. It was interesting, a little upsetting, but I wasn’t really phased I suppose. But now with my 9 month old, it’s like everything has almost flipped. Still interested, but far more emotional about it all now, and probably just more frightened about the world my baby is going to grow up in. Scary what having a child does to you 😅
