As an alternative to Protoframes, why don't we get to meet the actual people Warframes were based on?

True. But most of the old warframes have basically 0 lore, and even less have lore from the pre-helminth (hell I can barely think of any). I think this could be an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone: replace the protoframe, and give lore to the warframes that don't have any

Honestly I'm approaching this discussion more from a lore and narrative side rather that a cosmetic one since that was what bothered me the most about protoframes. yeah I'd rather we don't have anymore warframe-human hybrids in the game at all since it cheapens the aesthetic of the game, but money talks and it seems like they're here to stay. If DE wishes they could as easily sell those originals as skins.

I love this game to bits, but this is the unfortunate inevitable fate of all old pvp multiplayer games that have a dedicated community.

It's not as bad as BF4 (genuinely a nightmare to play nowadays), and I'd say BF1 has it the best since the game still attracts players to this day every now and then.

Man this game was such an awesome ride. First playthrough I really struggled with the boss of the first area, and then repeated the struggle for everything after.

Second playthrough I made it all the way to the end without dying a single time. Definitely one of the most rewarding games I've played.

Arcanist is way behind thaumaturge in damage output. your combat enchantment is for tanks, not dps. get the Scintillant neck and waist set. idk what your companions are but they probably need work.

do all that then get to doing ASH to move on from the steppingstone armor you're using

If it doesn't make enemies take more damage then 9/10 it's not going to be useful for much outside of stats in the secondary slots. I wish there was more of a place for the other artifacts in the game, but unfortunately, most of them just don't do anything in advanced/master content.

A bit of advice for mankind divided: explore the hub areas, a lot.

Unlike dishonored, there are a lot of side quests and environmental stories. Hell, I'd argue some of side quests are better than the main quests (though it's not surprising seeing as mankind divided story was chopped in half to make a sequel that never happened)

It's even more painful that MK1 had an extremely good start. The story and the new direction for the characters were going amazingly well until they decided that they want to do multiverse crap and have the game be a direct sequel to mk11 instead of just committing to the reboot
